routes missing in backhaul network

Tmobile did some work on my Cell Tower in Los Angeles at Cole and La Mirada a coulple weeks ago.  Since i've had a few wierd outages on 5G Home Intenet service.

This morning 11/8/22, all seemed to be working fine, speeds were good, but some services and apps just wouldn't work.  I narrowed down to services that run on AWS.

The same apps, services, and websites fail on my Tmobile cell phone too!  I guess it is on the same cell tower.

I went a couple miles away to starbucks…  all works fine on my laptop…  and when my Cell Phone moved to a different cell tower, all worked fine.   Another Cell phone on Verizon all work fine too.

How do we get T-Mobile to address this?   The agent was super nice, but she couldn't do anything more than reboot the router, clear the cache… etc.

Is there an engineering group that can look and see the work history?  Check the BGP routing tables? Etc?

  • I have the same issue that started yesterday 11/9/22, also in the LA area. And you're right: oddly enough, only services on AWS are affected. My TV won't play Amazon Prime Video, SmartThings won't work, Amazon devices are offline, and some software that I use that utilizes AWS is also not working. The issue persists on cellular datas as well as home internet.

I get unstable network connection errors for above services or just plain errors asking to try again.

How do we get T-Mobile to look into this?
