Sag FAST 5688W T-Life Device Error

After 3 or 4 days of the gateway being up I can't log into it via the T-Life app. Displays a Device Error message. I then have to reboot the gateway and wait 4-5 minutes for my network to come back up and watch for devices to show up in the connected list. Is this just limited to my gateway or is anyone else having the same issue??

  • You could still use the Linksys router, connected via Ethernet to the gateway. Then download the third-party app called HINT Control to turn off the gateway's Wi-Fi.

Mine does this sometimes, but the network continues to work.  Why do you feel the need to check on it so often?

  • Because I'm having issues with the parental settings. The timer for the internet doesn't always work right.

I wonder if these are related - the schedule not behaving, and the app not behaving.

Can you manually reboot the gateway once a day? It's annoying, but probably the simplest "solution."

I prefer not to. I would just like it to work correctly like my Linksys router did before I got tired of paying $140 or more for highspeed cable internet.

Same here.T-life shows the gateway offline but Wi-Fi is still ok. Many times it shows no devices connected or other times it shows devices that have been turned off for days as connected.
F5688W or the app, who knows.
