T-Mobile Internet WiFi 2.4GHz Breaks Everything.

If you separate the networks to 2.4GHz and 5GHz it will literally mess up every 2.4GHz device in your entire building. Even asked neighbors.

Tested on 8 different computers each having a Logitech K800 and an M570.

Tested with both paired to one receiver and one receiver for each device.

Seriously, it messes everything up, even TV remotes @ 2.4GHz.

It doesn't interfere with anything when in combined mode.

Leakage needs to be fixed.

That's pretty weird. "Combined" 5 and 2.4 is not a literally combining of signals since the are on different frequencies. The only share the same SSID which itself does nothing to the wifi signal. It could be that combining the SSID changes the channels on each band versus separate SSIDs. That could be the difference. However, since TMO gateways have very limited wifi options it's hard to know what the differences are.

No issues here.  I had to split mine due to automation devices only supporting a 2G signal.  Runs fine.

We have to constantly reboot TMO gateway

    to get 2.4GHz to connect

it locks up email From downloading

    it disconnects HomePod Mini

we have 2.4 & 5.0 separate else cannot

Setup HomePod Mini & other devices

    door locks, switch’s, thermostat, etc

How do we FIX connection issues for wifi

so we do not keep Rebooting?
