T-Mobile Wifi Privacy
I just joined the T-Mobile Home Internet team but I was trying to hide my WiFi from outsiders like I was able to do with my nighthawk but I couldn’t find the setting in the app. Does anyone know how I can hide my WiFi name from other individuals outside of my home
I don't think you can alter any Wi-Fi settings right now if you're using the KVD21 gateway. Hopefully, that will change soon. If you're using the Nokia gateway, visit http://192.168.12.1/ to access the web UI. Under Network->Wi-Fi Networks, turn off "Enable Broadcast" under 2.4GHz and 5GHz. I think you only need to do this for SSID1, SSID6 and SSID9 as those are the three that are defaulted to be active.
