T-Mobile InFlight WiFi and Lufthansa...?
Recently flew LH airlines from Munich to Denver. The InFlight WiFi is provided by T-Mobile and Deustche Telecom. A T-Mobile log-in page appears when purchase plan options are selected and it asks for the User's T-Mobile credentials. That information was entered ("User Name" & "Password") but rejected as "Invalid Login Credentials." A conversation today with T-Mobile support in the US was totally unhelpful as the agent was clearly unfamiliar with agreements with airlines other than AA and DL. His suggestion was "Ask the Flight Attenedant for assistance…. " !!.
How can one determine what credentials the Lufthansa system is asking for to enable WiFi log on ?
Contact Deutsche Telekom from your country of origin is the best i could tell you. If I remember correctly they are finally changing the name in most countries away from T-Mobile which slowly gets rid of the confusion.
Though owned by the same company they are 2 different entities. US T-Mobile has their own log in system as does DT T-Mobile has their own. You would need to contact T-Mobile in Europe and NOT the US counterpart.

I wonder how one actualy makes contact with the relevant support office “in Europe”… ??
At least with T-Mobile USA. You need to connect to the in-flight WiFi with WiFi Calling enabled. It should prompt you to open a web browser where you enter your T-Mobile number, receive a code, and then put that code into the browser window to access the in-flight WiFi.

The Lufthansa process does not allow this method as there is no internet connection unless the payment plan is validated. Without an internet connection inflight, no browser page can be loaded and no code received.
