Is it time to Switch Carrier after 20 years?

So dissappointed to see there is zero point in staying with T-mobile. I was trying to upgrade 2 Iphones on my account and there is basically 0 discount for existing customers. They say if you upgrade your plan you can get credit for the phones but the cost difference in plans wipes out any savings on the phones. I'm not expecting a free phone every time - but something?
