4 TopicsT-Mobile service has gotten progressively worse
I've had T-Mobile service for the last 8 months. For the first 6 months it was fantastic. I was getting 800+ download speeds and almost 100 upload speed. Over the course of the last 2 months I have been switched to their 4G service in which I'm only getting an average of about 120 download and about 5 upload. I've called multiple times and I get the same excuse every time which is they are upgrading their towers. I am positioned almost in the center between three towers and one of them. I'm about a quarter of a mile away from. I can see it from my house. I'm fed up with this low bar of service. As I'm typing this out I have another ISP installing fiber. As soon as he is done, I am calling T-Mobile to cancel my service. I wish you all the best of luck with T-Mobile and I hope that their service gets better for the rest of you who are having issues. As for me, my wife and I both work from home and we can't work with this slow service.985Visto0likes1ComentarioSamsung Galaxy S23 Plus and Simple Choice Unlimited plan
I have had my Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus for a year now. Since the beginning, I have had numerousissues of: notreceiving text messages, both with non T-Mobile users andT-Mobile users. on occasion not being able to send a text messages text or photo gets sent 5 or6 times to a non-tmobile user, while on my end it shows that message has failed to send I have done numerous trouble shooting sessions with T-Mobile and Samsung. Switched from Google messaging to Samsung messaging. Switched out physical SIM card once last year, and then most recently got an ESIM. I also got a replacement phone about 2 weeks ago. Nothing has helped the text messaging issue. When I look at network connections for my phone, it shows 5G and 2G network options. My question is: Does the fact that I have an older Simple Choice Unlimited plan have any effect on my current 5G cell phone? When I try to click on plan details, the Simple Choice plan talks about 4G unlimited. No where in the plan description does it talk about 5G. In other words, do I need to switch to an updated phone planin order to get this text messaging issue resolved? Or is the real issue network congestion? Anyone else have this issue?57Visto0likes0ComentariosSpotty Service 98390
For the past two weeks, we've had limited service at our home address. I've been to the local store and they checked my settings and replaced SIM card. Called customer service and they "boosted" my signal from their end. Was told tower 85036 is malfunctioning. The tower is within line of sight of my home. We are unable to send texts, send or receive calls or use our data. Currently, to utilize our phones, we are required to leave our home and drive to a location with adequate service. Every once in a while we'll pickup an LTE signal at home but normally it's "E". We've lived in the home for 23 years and have never had an issue with coverage. I am wondering if anyone else has faced a tower performance issue and how long it took to resolve the problem? And, are others in my area experiencing performance issues? At this point, I'm not exactly sure what I'm paying for...136Visto0likes4ComentariosStrong Signal on 5G/4G - Slow or No Data Speed
Hi everyone, I'm experiencing issues having full 5G bar strength, but really slow or non-existent data speeds. When switching to 4G, this also happens. I've noticed it most when in rural areas. (I'm using a Google Pixel 7 Pro, latest OS updates, and latest app updates.) Any advice on how to resolve this issue? Thank you, everyone!142Visto0likes0Comentarios
