7 TopicsReally Bad Customer Service
Hi, I am facing big issue with customer service and unable to find a way to lodge complaint officially. Issue started last month when I was travelling overseas and data roaming did not work for 1 specific main line. Other 2 lines I carried worked fine. I called support and they asked me to add roaming package for 10 days but even as I mentioned that I have not maxed allocated roaming hours they instructed to add additional package. After activation of the package still issue was open and support technician was asking standard questions and placed no effort to fix it. After spending multiple calls over 1 hour of my valuable time overseas issue was not fixed. Requested for someone from USA technical support was requested and agent mentioned request has been placed and will get call within 3 days. This never happened. I chatted with support on the issue and ask for refund of the data package and someone to call to fix the data roaming issues was not closed. After multiple attempts to get call back from support team still was unsuccessful. Also refund was agreed but did not reflect in my statement. Customer service is not willing to take customer complaint seriously and not further escalatingit No return call from USA support team until now Billing issue took two calls to resolved and get adjustment Customer service unable to provide ticket for mycomplaint Finally today I have ticket logged #01116452. Expectations, Call from necessary team to fix the issue I am facing as next overseas travelled is planned for next week Take necessary action on the support team previously engaged in my complaint Why T-Mobile is not providing details to provide feedback on the customer service??? If not addressed soon, planning to port to another service who cares about the customer...386Visto0likes9Comentariossudden extremely slow home Internet

I have been a loyal Sprint/TMobile customer for 5 years now. I have a Google Pixel 4A and I love it. Everything has worked great until TMobile recently required me to update my SIM in April. Ever since then I have not been receiving certain group texts. I don't know the full extent of it since I don't know the messages I don't see but I do know of a couple groups I was a part of that I'm not receiving texts anymore. In one group I am part of 6 users have Iphones. I see texts from 2 of the members but not from the others. I have spent over 9 hours now talking with TMobile reps in stores and over the phone and no one has been able to help. I even tried troubleshooting it with Google and they were unable to help. I did a factory reset on the phone but that did not work either. I most recently went into the TMobile store in San Diego on Fenton Pkwy and spent 5 hours in there. After 3hours with a rep named Tristyn it didn't look like he had any clear options for my phone. I thought maybe it was an issue with the phone and getting a new one would fix it. I didn't want to buy a new phone but was ready to do it just to get out of the store. I purchased the new Google Pixel 7.Unfortunately that did not fix the issue, and it took another 1.5 hours to transfer the data over. The most frustrating part of the experience is that after talking with Tristyn for over 4 hours, another rep came over to help. Elliemost likely saw I was frustrated and knew I was in the store for such a long time and tried to help. Right away she told me, they were not technical experts and my best option was to call customer support. I was very frustrated with her advice because I felt it should have been given within the first hour of the visit. On top of all this, they charged me for the new phone and told me due to the Sprint migration they were unable to refund my purchase at that time. After calling customer service they told me I'd have to wait 2 - 3 weeks for a refund. This whole process has by far been the worst customer experience I have ever had. No one has followed up on anything and every time I talk to someone they just tell me to try calling customer service again later. I can't believe no one has even offered to compensate me for my experience. Has anyone had any similar experiences with TMobile? Any recommendations on how to fix the issue or get some kind of compensation for 1.) paying for service that I am not getting 2.) spending over 9 hours troubleshooting 3.) Paying for a phone I don't even want because it does not work would be greatly appreciated.134Visto0likes0ComentariosIs service ever going to improve?
I was a loyal sprint customer. Since t-mobile bought sprint, service has been awful. They said it would take a few years for all the towers to be functioning. They claim that all towers are functioning now, but I have even worse service. I have lost service in my house and on my street. I have SOS in most places. The coverage map says I should have 5g in the areas my phone displaysSOS. T-mobile is still the cheapest since they kept my sprint price. Whenever t-mobile reaches out about my complaints, they tell me that the map says it should be working and there are no outages. That has not changed my terrible service. Does anyone have any information or inside knowledge about this? Any idea is the service will ever improve? At this point, I'm about to switch providers and pay $30 more per month. At least then I won't be paying for nothing.252Visto2likes5ComentariosHow secure is T-mobile's service? Is it encrypted?
How secure is T-mobile's service? Is packet sniffing or a man in the middle attack possible on the T-mobile network? I know that most ISPs have a good idea of what a user does on their network. You can typically just use a VPN to enable more anonymity online. But from the signal between a device and the cell tower i'm guessing there can be multiple security issues. Lets say I login to my T-mobile account or bank account. And someone has set up a repeater or fake signal that my phone connects to thinking its the T-mobile service. Would that person be able to see the data being transferred over the network. Or is the signal my phone sends out encrypted not allowing for this to happen. Devices like the 4G LTE Cellspot connects to a customers own router and allows them to broadcast a T-mobile signal using their home internet. Are people that own this device able to see data and traffic from my phone? They could possible configure their router maliciously to look at all traffic coming from a 4G LTE Cellspot device with unsuspecting T-mobile customer connecting to it thinking its connected directly to a cell tower. Another way this device can be abused is the person can limit their bandwidth to the device to unusable speeds but all phones around it will still connect to it because its the strongest T-mobile signal. This would degrade the service and make the T-mobile service around that device practically unusable. I swear I'm not paranoid. Just a student studying security and these questions came to mind. So I recently picked up a Zenfone 8 flip and have been trying to use it in the US. I'm in the middle of Philadelphia where the coverage map is great, but have had terrible service with calls constantly distorted or dropping and a signal strength usually worse than-100 dBm. Any ideas on what could be done to make it at least somewhat usable so I'm not out $600?350Visto0likes6Comentariosim getting 1 bar of 4g at home and im in a 5 g ultimate area om the map
