connecting mesh network
3 Topics5G home internet or 5G plus?
Although I have already activated 5G Plus, I am not so sure if I really need the plus for worry free coverage, or maybe the 5G is absolutely enough for me. We normally only have two people in the house, two story, 2500 sqf house. We need internet for cell phones, computers, and using the TV. My spouse works from home a few days a week, he needs to connect to his work and runs schematics as an engineer (main reason we went for the 5G Plus). During holidays, we might have a couple of kids coming home to visit for a few days, but normally just us two. Do we really need to pay for the 5G Plus, or should we go for regular 5G? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.Solved478Visto1like3Comentarioshow to connect orbi mesh router to T-mobile gateway
I had added (actually Best Buy) an orbi mesh network (router rb50) with satellites to my at&t fiber router. Now I am changing to t-mobil home internet. When I signed up for this I was told by the t-mobil rep moving my orbi system to the new gateway would be no problem. Well, I called Into t-mobil asking for help to do this - only after putting the t-mobil gateway in place was I informed by the tech that he could not help me with the orbi mesh hook up. So now do I have to pay for another tech to come to the house to set this up? or is there anyone at t-mobil who can help me do this. BTW I just called into the local t-mobil store where I got the gateway and was told I could just return the equipment. Is there anyone who can assist me? I am sure I am not the only one dealing with this question. I am a computer appreciator not a comp expert!8.7KViews3likes4ComentariosConnect T-Mobile 5G Hotspot to TP-Link Deco Mesh Wifi system (Deco X60)
I have tried to connect a cable via the USB-C to connect to ethernet on the Deco X60. It doesn't seem to recognize it. The cable is a Belkin USB-C to Ethernet. I'm thinking of switching to the Mifi X Pro (M3000) which has the Ethernet Port built in. Can anyone help me with this setup? We currently have Satellite for internet and have found we get a better signal with the Hotspot. I would like to get rid of the Satellite internet and use the Hotspot permanently. When I plug in the cable to the Hotspot it says I'm charging the system…. Is there something in the settings I need to change on the Hotspot to have the Deco see it? Thanks in advance for the help!646Visto0likes0Comentarios
