Hello all I am currently deployed to a location in the middle east, and I have the Magenta Max Military plan. Initially, I was able to use mobile data for roaming, but now it seems I have 0 connection and it constantly says "searching." My WiFi availability is VERY spotty, so I really am trying to rely on the LTE for text messages (for 2FA) and other things. I started to notice that whenever I was connected to a vodafone network, I would get kicked off shortly thereafter. My job requires me to have 24/7 availability by phone, so this situation is leading me to miss critical phone calls because I simply don't notice that I've been kicked off the network until I check my phone. What am I doing wrong here? I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S24. Now when I am trying to connect to the network (even after restarting my phone, resetting network settings, turning mobile radio on/off), I just see a "DENIED" status under Data Raw Registration State and Voice Raw Registration State. Please help, I thought I'd be able to rely on international roaming with T-mobile to maintain connectivity. I really don't have to have to purchase an additional sim card for the area.106Visto0likes2ComentariosActive Duty Military Deployment
Does T-Mobile still waive the international roaming charges while service members are deployed over seas? Last time I deployed over seas, I submitted myactive duty military orders and was able to submit my orders and still use my T-Mobile phone during deployment. I will be leaving for Kuwait soon and would like to do this as soon as possible if it is still an option. Thank you, have a great day!3.6KViews0likes3Comentariosroaming charges while Deployed
I'm currently deployed on orders. I tried to talk to a customer representative about the roaming charges and how I am on orders and all I got was a $22 credit. The roaming charges are going to be well above that for my duration while I'm here. I thought T-Mobile waived these fees while on orders. Any help would be appreciated.103Visto0likes0ComentariosImplementación
Hello, I am a veteran and my husband is active duty. He is deploying soon and we have the magenta military plan. While at sea, will there be any chances we would be charged for texts/calls or using data if it's within the parameters of the 5GB or using Wi-Fi? or is there anything we need to know of to make sure we will not get a huge bill on our plan? Should we let t-mobile know he is deploying so they know and wont try to shut his phone off for whatever reason? Any information would be helpful so we wont get blind sided.450Visto0likes1Comentario
