International calling with Tmobile's Digit app
Important Roaming Question! Please Advise. Has anyone ever able to figure the Tmobile's Digit app? I have physical Tmobile sim card inserted and indian sim card is basically an esim. So 1 phone with 2 simcards. Can you make/receive call from/to U.S on the Digit's app? I was under the impression that I can make/receive calls in Digit's app while using my Indian simcard mobile data but i got charged. A) Do I always have to be on Wifi in order to have calls without getting charge? B) Does the person who is calling me has to be on Wifi as well? C) Can I use Digits app to make/receive US calls and not get charge on Wifi and/or Mobile Data of indian sim card?
DIGITS calls have too much static
I am using my DIGITS line to operate my condo gate lock. To open the gate I press 7; and the touch tone triggers the call box to unlock. this worked 30% of the time in the past. Now when I get the gate to call my DIGITS line, the connection has so much static that the touch tone lags, or sounds like beep-beep-beep instead of a solid BEEP, and the old gate system doesn't trigger because the tone isn't correct. is there a solution to this? I have full signal + WiFi. The problem occurs even when I'm not on WiFi so that's not it.
Can't setup "cellular Fallback" for Digits on Verizon Smartphone
I have my Digits app working on a verizon smartphone, along with my T-mobile talk and text line. I'm trying to setup "cellular fallback" and it asks for the number of that phone. I enter the number and it asks me to enter the code Iwas sent by text. But Inever get the text message.
Apple watch roaming in India
I have an Apple Watch SE first generation, setup as standalone line, via family setup on T mobile Magneta X plan. Our phones have switched successfullyto local roaming partner (Vi India), however I'm unable to get Apple Watch to get to work, either phone, text or data. The Watch is on WatchOS 9.1 and has data roaming enabled. Cellular options shows Status as No connection. Multiplechat sessions with t-mobile rep has not yielded no results yet. They tried adding international data pass, enabling DIGITS, disabling it and putting line back to standalone line so far. I can see at least 1 bar of signal strength on Watch using explorer Watch face (phones show 3).
How Reliable is Digits? Is this normal....
I have 1 phone with a Tmobile plan and using Digits app on my 2nd phone which is a Sprint plan with Tmobile SIM card…from what I understand it shouldn't matter what carrier you're using as long as you have wifi or cell signal the calls & texts should come through to the app. I HAVE noticed that verification texts (from banks, password resets, etc) will NOT carry over to the Digits app and will only show up on the device with my Tmobile plan/SIM…. what's strange is that I don't receive texts from certain personal numbers (not sure what carrier) but I do know of one instance where a Tmobile customer had been trying to reach me via text several times per day for 4 days in a row and also tried calling me and none of the calls or texts came through to the Digits app. I would have thought that if any texts & calls were relaible it would at least be from Tmobile numbers. I have experienced issues in the past using VOIP apps where Verizon customers never received my texts but I wasn't expecting a Tmobile service to not function between it's own customers?
