iPhone 13 Mini
4 TopicsiPhone 13 Series Dual eSIM Setup Instructions
After spending 4+ hours on the phone with customer care, and in-store, today trying to get Dual eSIM's setup on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, I left the store with one eSIM and one physical SIM on my new device. I need help and direction on how to get multiple eSIM's from T-Mobile setup on my device. I currently have two T-Mobile accounts - one personal, one business. I've previously used them in Dual SIM setup, one physical SIM & one eSIM - as described above, on my iPhone 12 Pro. Every time I've needed to re-setup the single eSIM for that device, the store always struggled to know what to do and how to get me setup with a single eSIM. Now that the iPhone 13 Series supports Dual eSIM use, I'd like to get setup this way.The device was ordered from Apple to activate T-Mobile's network, and the eSIM for my personal line came pre-configured upon the arrival of the device. However, when using the "Change SIM" option in "My Account" for my business line, as well as the store attempting to update from their end, the system gives an error stating "Looks like that eSIM number is already set up." after inputting the EID from the iPhone 13 Pro Max. "My Account" has no option to input any other information from the device that may link the 2nd eSIM back to the network, and the in-store employee said the same, or didn't understand how to set it up on their systems. I need precise direction on how I can get both eSIM Profiles for the two T-Mobile accounts installed/downloaded to the new phone. I just don't understand the disconnect or differences in the 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G wireless generations and why 5G seems to be so different. I never had to second guess what my status bar is indicating. I have had "5G" connection issues on Apple, Samsung, and now Google devices. Random errors like "emergency calls only" or no signal whatsoever. Or full 5G UC access - yet I can dial my phone and watch it not ring or indicate a missed call. I can even send a text message or leave a voicemail and neither ever arrive. Thought this issue was limited to Samsung and Apple. Got a Pixel - same issue - so I think it's the Tech itself and/or the tower but not the devices. Had 5G + on my Pixel 6 - placed a call while out and it rang but left voicemail - nothing. Realized the voicemail didn't pop up - tried again - nothing. Then I got a "missed" call. Yet no ring. When asked, the person said it rang but it was a long delay, and it didn't seem like a regular ring. Not sure why this is but when 5G is enabled, at some point your device "disconnects" from the network and you have no idea you have missed any contact attempts. Turn 5G off? Walla! Issues are gone. Smh Did those two voicemails ever pop up? Nope! Still waiting. Imagine if someone called me during this time, left their dying will on my voicemail and I would not have any clue they called me, let alone that they left a message. Meanwhile my phone shows connected and full 5G access. T-Mobile engineers need to speak on this, and they need to stop this 5G push if it isn't even reliable. NEVER had to ponder if my device is connected or not with LTE. NEVER. I guess I will try 5G when 6G comes out ……….4.9KViews8likes14ComentariosReceived an activated phone instead of a brand new
Hi, We recently added a new line to our family plan and ordered a brand new iPhone 13 mini for the new line. When I received the phone and wanted to activate it, a t-mobile agent told me that the device is already activated with another plan and even its hotspot is used for like half an GB! The agent was not able to answer my question that how it is possible that they send me a brand new phone but it is already activated. Next day, I called t-mobile customer service to figure out what has happened. The new agent's explanation was not even reasonable! I was asking a clear question that why the phone is activated and who had access to theIMEI for activation, but the agent told me to turn on the phone (it was my first time) and do some setup. Then, they said it is activated now!! I repeated my question and after some waiting, herecame an interesting explanation that: sometimes t-mobile has an automatic phone activation when we order a phone online!!! Anyway, this answer was wrong from the beginning because not only dates did not match but also it was not justifying the phone's hotspot usage. At the end, they were not able to solve the issue and redirected me to another agent! The other agent asked a brief description of the problem and said that it is better to call an agent from sprint (our plan was first created with sprint). The agent set a call back for next day to discuss the issue with a sprint agent. After I hanged up the phone, I saw that they set a wrong call back time! After all of these, I asked my friend (who opened the phone's box) about whether the box was open or not when we received it, and it seems like one of the horizontal papers that are torn off on the iPhone boxes, was already opened from one side! So, it seems like not only t-mobile sent me a used iPhone instead of a brand new, but no one was also able to help me with the problem and accept that the phone is not brand new! Please let me know of any solution that comes to your mind!498Visto0likes3Comentarios
