Gateway Issues
I tried to customize my wi-fi, but this gateway is very primitive. Does not allow you to customize via the gateway ip address. You have to download the app. Does not allow you to rename devices and to set schedule for each device is a pain. With other routers I could set certain devices to a user (child/non admin user) and place a schedule for that user and all their devices. My security cameras and my thermostate had a huge issue connecting to it. I ended up replacing my YI Cameras because they were old and just wouldn't work with the security settings. Now, I am having issues connecting to certain secure sites and I have to disconnect wifi and connect my phone Hotspot (also with t-mobile, mind you) to visit these sites. Other gateway ip addresses allow you more flexibility with settings and customization. This is frustrating. I'm guessing I'm going to have to buy an external router to get the customization I need. T-mobile, anyway you could help us out with this?
Degraded service - Charlotte area
In the Matthews North Carolina area, my Gateway is only showing good status as opposed to very good or excellent. This is the first time that has ever happened without the Gateway being moved. Both my Gateway and my cell service are showing download speeds under 20Mbps and upload speeds under 10Mbps.
