magenta plan
9 TopicsIs Magenta plan prepaid or postpaid?
Anyone know how the billing cycle for Magenta plan works (pre vs post)? I am going to cancel my service soonand trying to figure out whether my bill that is due on the 24th is for my current cycle or the next cycle. If it is for the next cycle, I will not have to pay as long as I cancel before the 24th, correct?193Visto0likes2ComentariosWhat is "Magenta"?
Hi, just a quick one. This is my first time with a phone number in the USA. I have an e-sim. When getting the e-sim, I spoke to an agent on phone who did everything! She reaffirmed that I was getting a prepaid service after I asked (to make sure) various times! She said with the Magenta "plan" I was getting this and that! I asked again: is it a plan or isit prepaid? She said it was prepaid! So my question is , I am getting notifications that my "plan" payment is due in a few days... is Magenta a prepaid service? Or can I pay when I have the money? Thank you beforehand!!102Visto0likes1ComentarioWhy does T-Mobile Make Magenta - Military Verification so difficult?
#1 … I used my VA ID to authenticate who I was when I opened my account. Shouldn't that suffice as verification for a Military Magenta Account? #2 … Why does the date of separation in the verification app only go back top 2001? Are there no people who served in the military prior to 2001? Here I am! Living Proof! #3 … If there are specific parameters for uploading proof of service, why are they not listed on the page next to the upload tab/button? Just spell it out … i.e., we accept jpegs, gifs, tifs, & png files up to 1mb in size. Why does it always have to be a guessing game with these tech gurus? Are they not supposed to be "IT Specialists." Is "user friendly" even part of the vernacular at T-Mobile. Likewise, if there are specific documents, that SheerID accepts to verify your Military affiliation, why not spell them out in black and white? Or at least provide a link to the SheerID webpage where they define the criteria for verification of your military service. Having left Verizon for T-Mobile because of their lack of customer service, have I leapt out of the frying pan and into the fire? Am I going to have to prod them every time they fail to see the obvious? Are Mike Sievert, Nestor Cano, Dow Draper, Peter A Ewans, Callie Fields, Jon Fryer, Janice V Kapner, Michael J Katz, Deanne King, Susan Loosemore, David A Miller, Peter Osvaldik, Neville Ray, Abdul Saad, John Saw, Matt Staneff, and Brian King reading this? Or are they asleep at the wheel; complacent and cozy in their comfort zone, feeling no need to improve on their inherited success? https://www.sheerid.com/business/resources/faqs/1KViews0likes4ComentariosMagneta 1.0 vs Magenta Plan
I am still on Magenta 1.0. Trying to determine if I should switch to the regular Magenta plan. Can you tell me what this distinction in high-speed data means between the two? Am I only getting 4G LTE service at best with my current plan? What other notable differences might there be? You sent27KViews0likes3ComentariosPlan Magenta
Hello Everyone. I recently switched from the cheapest plan avaliable, the one that doesn't include taxes. (Forgot the name) I switched from essentials plan to Magenta plan because with taxes the other plan came out to like $130.50 and the Magenta promo stated 4 lines for $140 itseemed like a no brainer, I made the switch only to find out threw customer service that THAT 140 Magenta plan is for NEW customers only.. so during my chat with Customer Sevice I asked "so essentially I have to cancle my service with tmobile.. and rejoin again so we can get the actual $140 plan? She stated well... I'm not telling you too..." So my question is, if I go down to tmobile and follow threw with my plan of canceling Magenta plan (prior customer) 4 lines, walk out the door, turn around and resign up 4 lines of magenta with tmobile, is this possible? Will tmobile try to tell me some old school cable company crap about having to wait 30 days after service cancelation? If anyone has any information of past experience like this, it would greatly help my situation! Thank you again for your time!Solved606Visto0likes2ComentariosMagenta Plan used between US and Brazil
I have ben charged 5 dollars per minute on conversations between US and Brazil. When I purchased this plan, I was advised to purchase Magenta Plus for this type of international calls. T-Mobile went in my account and overcharged me. I called customer service, and I was told I don't have that plan, which has been used for 1 year.172Visto0likes1ComentarioMagenta 1.0 to current Magenta plan switch
When I am in the app or online via web page it shows that if I switch from the Magenta 1.0 plan that I am currently on to the now available Magenta plan that my monthly ratewill go down $20 a month. Every time I try to make the change it says something like, "Oops, try again later or contact T-Mobile". I talked to someone about a month ago who was very helpful but could not replicate this on her end. I have tried to use the chat which crashes anytime I try to upload an attachment of what I am seeing. How can I get this reduced rate applied that T-Mobile's own web page and app is showing as available?3.5KViews0likes1Comentario
