I called T-mobile to lower my monthly plan. I canceled 3 tablet internets that I was paying promotional $50 / month for those 3 tablets and also changed my plan to get a lower rate. The representative canceled the lines, changed the plan and told me that I was all set. Here I am so happy that I deducted a chunk of my bill. 2 days later I get a notice from T-mobile that I owe $142.00 extra on the bill. I call and they tell me that I had to pay Partial plan charges because since I canceled the plan I had to pay the "prorated" charge which actually cost $65.00 each. Excuse me??? The representative mentioned NOTHING of this. He happily changed my plan and went about his day. Do you not think that is something worth mentioning? They went and gave me a $40 credit due to the "inconvenience" and apologizing wildly for the rep and that they apologize he did not mention it but there is nothing more they can do. I spoke with a supervisor and she was not of much help either just said the same... "we apologize the rep did not mention this". T-mobile reps apologies is not going to help me pay this bill.. I should not be penalized for the $140 charge!!! And I want it removed from my bill ASAP. Please, what can be done to get this bill resolved? I literally am in shambles because I have been so blindsided by this. I have been a customer for more than 10 years with this company and I feel like I got completely scammed there and it is all because a REP did not mention any of this before me giving the okay to cancel these plans. Someone help please.40Visto0likes0ComentariosMISGUIDED BY SALES REP

On January 3rd, 2024 - Ronnie E completed a sale with me over the phone. Ronnie upgraded all my four lines and enticed me with a trade-in deal. She promised I would be getting $830 credit per phone with an eligible trade-in. I got 4 new iPhone devices - three of them iPhone 15 Pro Max and one of them as iPhone 15 Plus. T-Mobile asked me to send the 4 Samsung Galaxy phones to trade in, which I completed. I get $830 credit for only three phones, not the fourth one. While Ronnie E promised I would get credit for all four phones, Taylor E says that I will not - one of them was lying. I have lost close to $1,500 on this so far in addition to waste of hours of my precious time and forget being stressed out hearing these lying professionals. What is my way forward? As a victim, I am determined to make T-Mobile accountable. Is going to their legal department with my attorney the only way? Or is there any other quicker and easier way to resolve this situation? I signed up for T-Mobile service on 8/11 as I was preparing to move to a new location where my old provider didn't have good service. First, red flag we have IPhones that don't take a SIM card, yet the representative insisted she had to send me 5 SIM cards. Then the address is a new build and she claimed that UPS couldn't find the address so I needed an alternate address for them to send them to. Needless to say I got the SIM card days later and when trying to activate surprise surprise I didn't need them. Second issue I had 5 lines, 4 numbers from Alaska and one number from Virginia, we are a military family. After 2.5 hours of being on the phone with T-Mobile who insisted it was AT&T's fault and vice verse I get told because they don't have service in that part of Alaska that I can't keep my 4 phone number and they can't be ported in. So of course the 5 virtual prepaid rebates were denied on the basis I did not port my numbers in. Well I tried, one was successfully ported and they denied it too. Just starting this new plan with T-mobile and needless to say I am disappointed and I've been misled and lied to. The first untruth was that they checked and my numbers were able to be ported. Did they really check or just wanted my business. The second untruth was that I would get a prepaid card for new service. The rebates were all denied and they said it was because I didn't port in my numbers. Well I ported in 1, the other 4 couldn't be and that's not my fault. So I have no rebates, and lost my phone number that I've had for 6 years.274Visto0likes2ComentariosMisled twice causes financial hardship
I accompanied my son's fiancée to transfer my sons phone to her account from my account. The lady told her she could upgrade his pixel phone to the newer generation for $100. So she paid for it. Then she told us her bill would not go up at all for adding the extra line. August 5, 2022 Then she got a bill for double what she was paying $240. and on it showed a new pixel phone for $550. She returned to the store and talked to the same lady who said it was an error and she would fix it. She told her it had created a financial hardship and if there was an increase and charge for the phone they would have kept the phone and not make any changes.September 2022. Next bill same issue so she went back and someone told her to ignore the new phone charge that it wasn't a charge just a note on the bill. She asked them to take it off but they said it was just a record. Because the bill did not reduce, they could no longer afford it, so today 10.15.22 I met her at the T mobile store I go to and transferred their numbers to our plan. They did the transfer wrong the first time and had to redo it. I was charged for two transfer fees instead of one. Then I got an email for a document-sign and it was for the Pixel phone we were told was already paid for with the $100. In August. Needless to say, we were greatly misled and we don't know how to solve the issue with this phone. If they would have told us there was a huge charge for the phone shewould not have done it. They took away herchoice at that time. We need to get this resolved ASAP since they are basically holding it over us and if not okayed in 48 hours they will suspend the two recently added lines to our account. The accountabilitylies with T mobile store not us.164Visto0likes2Comentarios
