SoI'm sitting on my couch with my phone, browsing websites, streaming music, checking email... all of a sudden, my phone is acting like it has no connection. It shows 5GUC and all five bars but it's acting like I'm out of myservice area. I turn on "airplane mode" for 5 to 10 seconds and turn it off, now everything is back to normal. This only started happening these last 2 weeks. What could be the cause? I haven't changed my plan, account settings, or location. (I am NOT using WiFi.) I am using the same phone I've had for thr last 6 months (Samsung S22+) so there hasn't been a change to equipment either. Again, this issue only popped up the last 2 weeks, and toggling airplane mode "refreshes" the connection. I also doubt its my data plan since i have not changed my usage habits and the billing cycle just reset. It's intermittent (so it could happen 6 times an hour, or once every couple of hours). Anyone have any clue on the cause and a possible fix?523Visto0likes3ComentariosI think T-Mobile should offer a business hotspot plan for security cameras.
I own several properties and I recently purchased a hotspot to give me remote security camera viewing at one of my properties to test out if this will work for all of my properties. This seemed like a good option because it was less expensive than getting the cheapest internet plan through my cable/phone company at each one of my properties (hint: its not cheap at all). Additionally, I like the portability. If I'm doing a fix and flip or only need internet for a limited time, it makes it easy to grab the hotspot andgo to the next project/jobsite. I don't need to call my cable company to disconnect and reconnect internet at the other property and in remote locations (or for new construction), sometimes service is not even run to the building yet. Anyhow, I've realized that I don't need5G speeds just for a few cameras streaming. Monitoring full time (which is likely unnecessary, but may be needed for some people) would use quite a bit of data but doesn't need 5G speeds.I wonder if T-mobile could offer a business hotspot plan with higher data and reduced speeds. Aplan faster than 2G, perhaps3G or 4G (at maybe 5mb/s)specifically forthe purpose of remote security camera monitoring through hotspots. There really seems to be a big demand for this in business but nobody is there to fill this demand.Manythefts occur onjob sites and mobile hotspots w/cameras seem like a natural solution to this problem. Additionally T-mobile, as well a othercell providers, offer unlimited tablet plans for business, so why not offer the same thing for hotspots?176Visto1like1ComentarioWhat's the cheapest Mobile Internet plan w/ Data Stash?
My ZTE 4G LTE hotspot is kept around to just use when I go traveling for work. I've had a steady $25/mo Simple Choice plan on it for a few years now, but find that I'm traveling less and don't need 6GB each month. I do really appreciate the Data Stash: saving up those unused GBs pays off when I use it for a few days every 3 or 4 months. I'd like to pay less per month since I've only used 1GB in the past 6mos, but still have that Stash for when I need it. I'd love to drop to a 1GB/mo plan ANDkeep my current (full) stash, but figure that's too much to ask. 2GB/mo for $10 is just about what I'd like, but can't find any info if the 2GB/Mo Mobile Internet" plan still has a Data Stash or not. Anyone know for certain? Otherwise, starting to sound like a straight up prepaid company is better for my budget, since I don't really see much benefit to staying signed up with T-Mobile (voice lines are on another carrier).349Visto0likes1ComentarioHuawei p40 lite
Hello there! I haveHuawei p40 Lite and I`m auser from Europe(Bulgaria) but soon I will be moving to the U.S(Virginia). I reckon Huawei has been banned from the USA, so my question is: Do U.S. mobile carriers support Huawei devices? I'd like to be able to use an American carrier on my Huawei cellphone(and prefere T-mobile company)but I need to know whether that's even possible or I should buy a new device?301Visto0likes1Comentario
