7 TopicsReceived Fake Phishing Txt that looked like tmobile
I called into support and she had no idea what I was talking about or grasp of receiving a fake text. It came from the same type of auth text 456 and had the call 611 but a non 800 - hopefully allowing the fear of a charge to cause the user to click and call: See below:Solved41KViews1like7Comentariosrandom texts
So today I started getting random texts from unknown numbers. The texts are blank and when I receive the texts, the notification sounds doesn't go off so I see it when I go to my messages. The numbers aren't U.S numbers and I've already blocked 3 of the numbers but they all start with +447 and the number will be 12 digits long.465Visto0likes3ComentariosPhishing emails for IPhone 15 Pro NOT from T-Mobile
In the past few days my wife and. I have received 6 phishing emails (see graphic below). I forward the emails to T-Mobile, so hopefully they can take some action. PLEASE do NOT respond to this email. If you check the senders email, ou will see something like:Carrington@portowhite.pt(definitely not t-mobile). Be aware there are some crappy people with ill intent that want to scam you. I hope this helps.231Visto0likes0ComentariosHas anyone received a text to change payment method?
I received the attached text supposedly from t-mobile about changing my payment method. Please see the attached image. I would say this is phishing and wanted to report it to t-mobile. I saw no other way to get it to t-mobile.2.6KViews0likes10ComentariosLatest Phishing SMS text
Been trying to find a way to report this to T-Mobile support via message but apparently this is not possible. Watch out for this message via SMS. Seems like you'd have to be pretty oblivious to fall for it, but I guess some people do or they wouldn't try it.58Visto0likes1ComentarioI got a fake call from t-mobile, where do I report that? No, I'm not sitting on the phone on hold to do so.
I got a phone call from a number that does not check out as t-mobile's, they're claiming to be from sprint/t-mobile. I don't care to dig through all the forum rules to know if I can post the number here, so I won't. Is there an email, chat service, or any other web-based means to report these events? Please don't tell me to download the app, I'm not interested in bloat.114Visto0likes1Comentario
