price lock guarantee
4 TopicsT-Mobile breaking promises to seniors who were offered price-lock guarantee for life on 55+ rate plans
In 2017, I signed up for a 55+ rate plan with the assurance that my monthly rate was price-locked for life. This incentive was a primary reason that I switched from AT&T to T-Mobile. Now, T-Mobile is trying to raise my monthly rate by $10.00. When I spoke to their customer service people this morning they told me that there was nothing that they could do to fix the problem. I also noted that they changed all of the marketing information on their web site to delete all references to the price-lock guarantee which I was offered when I set up the account. We need to find a way to complain loudly to T-Mobile about this breach of contract and breach of trust. If we do nothing, they will raise our rates again in the future. Let's fight back. Thanks for listening.20KViews94likes143ComentariosAm I the only person concerned about the T-Mobile Price Increase??
So I have a magenta plan and a few weeks ago I got that nice text telling me price will increase. What really drove me nuts about it was how it was worded I cant remember the exact wording down to letter but it pretty much went like "For the First time in 10 years we have to raise the prices, Your plan will increase x amount" First off you know how insulting that is @T-Mobile? You tell every one you will never raise the prices, then turn around and do it and brag about how it has been 10 years? Really? You said you would do not do it so it does not matter 10, 20 ,30 40, 50 years latter is nothing to brag about it. ID rather you sent a text saying sorry but we had to increase your plan or please take note plan prices are going up vs your saying well it has been 10 years. When you say you wont do something then you just do not do it.. My issue is a little more depth I qualified for the promotion if you raised the prices I can leave your service worry free and no bills have to be paid but now you representatives are talking about a bunch of technicalities that would prevent me on taking advantage of that offer, or how they claim those offers do not exits. I invite any one to reply to this post stating how they feel about there plan prices going up when they where told IT WONT HAPPEN. I am hoping enough people will decide to speak out and maybe T-mobile wont continue the behavior, or at least take note for the next time they do this!Solved2.2KViews4likes34Comentariosincrease in billing contract broken
I have been contracted with T mobile for many years. I just spoke with a customer care person who stated that T mobile never had contracts for the service. I stated multiple times we did have to sign a contract and we were locked into that contract. she basically told me she had been a customer for 15 years and never signed a contract for the service. This attitude infuriated me. She kept saying that a text went out in May, well that text looked like Spam and I didn't open it. what is T mobile going to do about our contract they signed saying we were being locked into the rate with up to 4 voice lines? Do we need to call the FCC? The contract was presented and signed by both parties and is legally binding by both parties.56Visto1like0Comentariosprice lock price increase - request for info
If you were affected by the price increase on price locked plans and originally joined T-Mobile on or after August 10, 2018 but before Jan 1st, 2020, would like to know which state you were in at that time. Here or DM is fine. Thanks! Rick27Visto0likes0Comentarios
