Anyone else having trouble with TMobile meeting it's promises. Three attempts now to be reimbursed for iPhone through keep and switch program. I guess they think you will just forget about what they promise you to get you to switch from AT&T. Just a new form of Corporate hot checks….. worst customer service I believe we have experienced…7.8KViews21likes55ComentariosDevice 360 for apple is a rip off and pain
Ok so has anyone else had to deal with this much to replace a phone?? For the past 10-15 yrs through all different cell providers, I've still had assurant as the insurance in the past. It was nice and simple. You file a claim you pay the deductible. They send you a new phone you send yours back done not this time!!! So I went to file a claim and assurants web site through T-Mobile they tell me I'm eligible for AppleCare services ok something new (for me) so I get transferred to their site to file claims nothing worked like it was supposed to first I get told I have to pay full price for a replacement because it's so badly damaged so that's not right because why am I paying for this insurance if I have to pay all this money for a new phone anyways so then I start a chat with Apple and they told me I actually have applecare plus so they can do the replacement it's like 100 bucks I have an IPhone 13 Pro Max so he tells me there's gonna be two charges on my card. One is an authorization hold hold for the full replacement value of the phone and the second is the actual charge for the replacement so over $1000!!! Pay all that they mail you a new phone you sent back your old one and the authorization hold drops!!! OK what about people who don't have uh all that money to be held for days on end or just flat out don't have that much money so then they tell me the only other option is to go into an Apple store doesn't matter if you live near one or not you better figure it out!! in my case. The closest Apple store is an hour each way so it's not too bad, but this is my son's phone that he broke that he has to pay for. He's 17 he works almost full-time and goes to school. I have a life so we have to figure out when we're both available to be gone for a minimum of three hours, probably maybe longer!! Whatever we will get it done but the point is what if somebody doesn't drive and lives in a rural area or a smaller town Apple stores are only in big cities and they don't have that kind of money to be held?? I just feel like this is a lot of headache to be paying for every month. There's all these new insurance companies out here and honestly there's one that starts with an a they will cover your phone and up to 25 other personal items for less than I've been paying!! And you don't have to deal with the hassle of going anywhere. It's all done through the mail likes the way it used to be was just a deductible. I just feel like this is too much now expecting people to put down that kind of money or find a way to go to an Apple store, so in my case Assurant and T-Mobile lost a customer for their insurance that's a very big chunk of change considering that it's me and four of my children that all have phones!! I might have stayed if it was the way it used to be but not with all of these problems. I'm glad I looked into other alternative choices. Not to mention the person I was talking to with Apple said that I could get AppleCare plus directly through them for cheaper than through assurant or T-Mobile!! so I found a company I like the better because they cover other stuff but otherwise you're better off to just get AppleCare plus it's way cheaper I guess I want to say about seven or eight dollars a month. I might be off a few dollars but it's way cheaper than insurance through T-Mobile and they cover pretty much the same stuff!! Sorry for my super long rant, but hopefully it save some people some money to get the hell away from what their pitching!!1.3KViews1like2ComentariosHow can I contact the Fraud Department?
Does anyone have an unpublished way to contact the Fraud Department? This whole setup at T-Mobile is pathetic. This internal department exists that can deactivate an account on a whim, and no one can contact them. Customer Care can't get a hold of them; the number they used to have was deactivated. The store support teams can't contact them; the best they can do is open a case and wait to hear back. How is this acceptable when T-Mobile sells itself as the friendly, no BS carrier? I'm paid up on my charges (it's a brand new account), but my account was marked fraudulent in the middle of a porting process. You deactivated not only my T-Mobile services, but also terminated my old carrier's plan due to the port. I also have no guarantee as of now that I'll be keeping my number. Everyone I contact just quotes the standard "24 to 48 hours" response for fraud responses, but that's unacceptable. If you don't know what I'm talking about, pray that you never travel frequently or try to make account changes while travelling. T-Mobile will make getting basic cellular service an absolute hell.Solved36KViews4likes27ComentariosT-MOBILE STOLE OVER $1100 DOLLARS FROM ME
In 2019 I decided to get the iPhone 11 Pro Max a few months after it came out (July). I decided to do a 2 year lease on it which cost $39.59 per month, just tacked on to each monthly phone bill. In April of 2020, T-Mobile buys Sprint, the carrier I purchased the phone through. My lease is still not completely paid, so I keep making payments. T-Mobile owned Sprint when my lease payment should have been removed from my bill. Fast forward to today, February 1st, 2024. I'm looking over my bill details and I notice that there's a charge on there that doesn't include my iPhone's protection plan stating that it's for leases. Confused, I check the leases tab and there are no active leases. I HAVE BEEN PAYING AN EXTRA $39.59 PER MONTH FOR 30 MONTHS ($1,187) FOR A PHONE THAT IS ALREADY PAID OFF. I call customer service and a very professional young lady named Diamond helps me, she tells me that they had to manually remove so many lease charges from people's bills. I asked if I could be refunded for these extra charges and she tells me that she can only refund 2 months worth of payments (under $80). I understand that she has protocols that will not allow me to talk with her supervisor so I don't even know why I bothered asking. I made sure to be really nice to her because at the end of the day, it's not HER who's been pocketing the equivalent of an extra YEAR'S WORTH OF PHONE BILLS from me. I have called customer service several times over the past few years for help on a few things, there have been PLENTY of times that they could have spotted this error. I am so upset about this and will be switching to a different phone company by February 21st (the day my bill is due) if I am not made whole. I advise anyone thinking of switching to T-Mobile to think twice about it, seeing as they clearly have no issue taking the hard-earned money that is not owed to them.96Visto0likes1Comentario14 dyas of run around and no response from executive team
What a nightmare. I tried becoming a T-Mobile customer through their phone, and it has to be hands down one of if not the worst experience, and it's still ongoing. I attempted to trade in four phones for four new iPhone 15 pro over the phone. First off, the original salesperson completely screwed up the order, only put in one IMEI number and left off the other three, and told me i didn't need them, she had a workaround. She told me I would get $1000 per phone and there would be no charges for the phone. My total monthly bill would be $160.00 because I am a disabled veteran and there is no phone payments cause the charge for the phone is the same as the rebate. Lie #1. She then told me I would owe $287.35 for taxes for the phones and a $100.00 deposit for a total of $387.35. I questioned the deposit fee because I have over 800 credit scores, she told me I would receive the $100 back in 72 days (yes days). I had her repeat the amount and accepted it just to get the call over with cause she was horrible. Imagine my surprise when T-Mobile billed me $789.31. Lie #2. I called arguing what i was told and then was explained it was taxes, $400 in deposits, and a $105 activation fee, even though their website and advertisements said no activation fee. I argued first i was told different amount and t mobile needed to honor that amount and then i argued why there was an activation fee even though i have screen shots and every other advertisement sent out showing no activation fee. I was told I would receive the $400.00 back once they receive my phones in 72 hours, then told they would reverse the $105 activation fee. Yeah they never reversed the activation fee. Onward to the next round of lies. I received my iphone pros i ordered and noticed only one IMEI number on the return shipping label. I called again questioning what about the other three phones and how would i account for them. After some passing around and nobody having a clue the fake supervisor Mike told me to go to the store and they can fix everything. Another lie. I walked into my local store family in tow with all my phones and they pull up my account and tell me there is nothing the can do, there is only one IMEI and I have to call customer service back. So three hours on that phone that night again. and now another fake supervisor who keepstelling me she has to check with her supervisor says she has a work around to add my all my trade ins on the account and she is sending me a shipping label with all my IMEI listed on there. Low and behold what do i get a shipping label with only the iphone 15 pros on it and nothing showing any documentation i was sending in my trade ins. She then tells me that I would be charge 5 dollars a month for my phones, and also i would not receive my $400.00 deposit back for my phone and that it counts toward the purchase price of my phone. But the $1000 rebate does not pay off a $1000 phone. apparently I have to pay $100.00 extra per phone and $20.00 extra a month for a $1000.00 rebate for a $1000.000 phone so techincally tmobile is charging over $1200.00 for an advertised price of phone of $1000. Again a little bait and switch. The fake supervisor told me I would get back my deposit and still ahve to make payments on my phones. Whne anyone can make a $1000 rebate on a $1000 phone turn into $1200, please let me know. Again I have no clue out of the 15 different people (Ferdinand, Leo, Jay, Marvi, Mariya, Jonry, Mike just to name a few) how nobody has a clue what to do. Finally I had to resort to sending all the new i phone pros back to t mobile and now have been told 5-7 days to get my refund. Oh and that whole I will text you or send you my personal guarantee, yeah never received one from any of your reps. Everyone apologizing and nobody fixing.244Visto0likes8ComentariosRude supervisors and degrading business
Have any of you experienced the poor customer service this company has? I have been with Sprint for 20 years and recently, even though I was not told, I was migrated to T-Mobile. Worst cell provider ever. I upgraded 2 phones and added 2 lines back in July of last year. I was quoted a flat bill rate of $230 a month. I have been paying over $330 every month since. I finally spoke to a wonderful customer service supervisor and she was supposed to credit my account back $890 that I over paid within 24 hours. This did not happen. She tried but higher up people denied it, even though she gave me a active transaction number to use for the refund to my bank account and all. So when the payment didn't arrive, I called and spoke to another supervisor. She was extremely rude and told me she knew where I upgraded and purchased my phones. She said it was a Sprint by T Mobile store. Never ever has any TMobile store on Omaha, NE or CB, IA ever had a sign stating Sprint by TMobile. The store reps were on the phone with them for countless hours and could never get anywhere. Needless to say, if you look online, they are all TMobile stores therefore, false advertisement and the supervisor even told me she agreed but nothing she could do. The service is horrible, the phones cut in and out all the time. When an app asks for your current location it places me in colorado which is over 8 hours away from me. Needless to say, the scammed me out of $890 and now my business is going to drop them for all services also. This is fraudulant and they cannot say one thing and do another. Finally my bill had been corrected. Then this new supervisor gets on and starts in with her lecture. Are we supposed to receive letters stating that TMobile is now taking over Sprint over a year ago and then to find out you have spoken to Tmobile reps numerous times and they have never claimed to be sprint. Now they are telling me I have to call Sprint to get a refund???? What the heck??? I thought the company purchased Sprint??? Why is this my responsibility. I am livid and now searching for a new phone carrier for the business and my personal 4 lines along with the rest of my family leaving and going elsewhere. I am ashamed that Sprint combined with such a negligent company. And they train their employees to be negligent as well. I will not let this drop until corporate reaches out and I want the girl I spoke with on 6/5/23, she needs verbal coaching and classes on customer service. I am a Hospice nurse and I would never allow employees to talk to patients or families that way. What a shame this is. TMobile is by far the worst cell company ever.92Visto0likes0ComentariosHow do I redeem my Keep and Switch Prepaid Card?
I've called a few times to try and find out the answer but I keep getting the same answer which is "to wait for an email or text." But my main question is, why am I told to go to the "promotions.t-mobile.com" site to check the status with the tracking ID when I'm always met with the "Start a New Submission" screen? There's not a section on that page that allows me to track. Is everyone getting this error or is this something only certain people are expierencing?174Visto0likes1Comentarioso sick of customer service getting everything wrong
I am so tired of customer service screw ups. Sit on the phone over an hour just to talk to someone then they screw up my request so bad that my life will be hell for the next 2 weeks trying to get what I want as well as correct their mistakes. Grrrrrrr68Visto1like1Comentario
