return device
7 TopicsCan't return trade-in device at any T-Mobile store - system shows error
I got switched to T-Mobile with three lines and home internet.I upgraded two phones by trading in existing devices. I did it in-store at Transit, Depew. The staff was accommodating. One of the trade-ins was done without any issues. They gave me the new phone and kept the old one. For the second line, they did not have iPhone 14 Max Pro. So, they ordered it and asked me to go in once I received the device as it was shipped to my home. They call it deferred trade-in. I got the new iPhone 14 Max Pro on Tuesday (Oct 24th). I went to the same store right away. They set up the new phone and tried to trade in the old phone (iPhone 11). However, once they input all the information, the system throws an error. So, they tried doing that on a new tablet and got the same error. They told me to go back another day. So I went back the next day (Oct 25th). They still couldn't go past that error.So, they told me that I could try another store or come back later. They said sometimes it takes 2-3 business days for the system to reset. I called up 611 before going to the store, and the agent said my account was fine and I should be able to return the old device. Anyway, I decided to try a different store on Niagara Falls Blvd, Amherst, the next day (Oct 26th). They received the same error and asked me to go back later. I called 611 again today (Oct 27th), and they said the system should be okay and I should be able to return the phone. So, I went back to the store onNiagara Falls Blvd, Amherst.They received the same error again and asked me to go back later. Has anyone faced a similar problem? The thing is, I know I can return the old phone through USPS, but T-Mobile mentions Assurant/T-Mobile will not be responsible if the phone is lost or damaged! A few people I know faced significant challenges returning devices through Assurant. I wasplanning to upgrade the 3rd line, but the above experience is stopping me from doing that. Would anyone be able to give me a way forward? I feel ifI can't return the old phone at the T-Mobile store, the company should be responsible for shipping. Any suggestions?940Visto0likes1ComentarioTrouble Returning Phone
Has anyone had trouble returning their device to a store? I have been a tmobile customer for about 4-5 years and recently upgraded from the Galaxy Note 20 to the Flip 4. I was told at point of purchase through pre-order, as well assubsequent emails and texts, that I could return my old device to the store to get credit for the trade in or I could mail it in. Since I have a store less than 2 miles away, I opted to just drop it off. When I spoke to the rep, she had no idea what I was talking about, told me she couldn't do anything with my phone (even though it was purchased through tmobile…?) and gave me a box, bubble wrap, and a shipping label and told me to mail it myself. I have a hard time understanding how multiple communications stated I had two options only for an employee to tell me that is incorrect. Has anyone else experienced this? As a result, was your device received back late and did you have to do anything to correct the billing?343Visto0likes2ComentariosHome internet router return, should I include the chrger?

Hello, T-Mobile has the best customer service ONCE YOU ARE THE CUSTOMER, but if you leave them,you gets the worst customer service ever. I have decided to switch the carriers last year and gotten a shipment box to return the Signal booster device R3, which I did on Nov 7, I have called them few weeks after still getting the bill for $306 (Signal booster charges) they told me It has beenreceived but the system is not updated yet so need to wait. Since then, I have called more than 15 times (on average40 mins a call) in past 5+ months. But still getting bills and the worst part is every time I called,I m connected to overseas call center and their default answer is "Oh offline team needs to update the system" and they cant help further. Now it has went to collections, which I told the T-Mobile team several times in the past don't send to collection and they said since you call us T-Mobile is not going to send to collection. So called T-Mobile again today and was told we cant do anything since its already sent to collectionjust talk to the collection agency and tell them T-Mobile has received the device and please settled my account. when called collection agency they said they don't take customer's words, T-Mobile needs to let them know.NOW I M STUCK IN INFINTE LOOP!!! Please assist.187Visto0likes0ComentariosNever recieved all of the money back on returned phone and airpods..
The beginning of November we placed an order for the new Apple phone and airpods. After realizing we would not be home to sign for the order we contacted T Mobile the next morning…andTHEY in turn "cancelled" the order saying it was too late to change the address…we had to wait until they receieved the order back to get the over 600.00 credit so we could place the order once again. It took over 2 weeks and we only got credit for the phone, not the airpods...we NEVER say the package, UPS and TMobile stopped it from being sent to us...after messing waiting almost 3 weeks we went ahead and ordered again. This order was fine, other than since all of this happened it made our trade in value go down...which is not our fault… BUT…. I have contacted them several times, the last time over the phone I was hung up on…I visited the store to see if that would help…but of course they gave my number to their general manager to call me and of course I have not heard anything, that was last week… This is over a month now and 275.00 is a lot of money (250.00 plus tax, plus all the wasted time) especially here at Christmas!!! HOW DO I GET MY MONEY BACK??????????156Visto1like1ComentarioCheck if Device Reported Stolen
Hello! I recently purchased an iPhone 11 on Mercari for $60, and found out finally after fixing it that there's an iCloud lock. But I am also curios if there is any way to check and see if it has been reported lost or stolen through T-Mobile. If so, I would gladly return it to the owner, or see if they did not wish for it back, could unlock it. I know if I were to ever lose my phone, I'd pray somebody honest found it and did their efforts. Does anybody know how I could go about that?1.5KViews0likes1ComentarioWhat happens if I don't return my device through the JUMP! benefit?
I got a new phone through the JUMP! benefit and have to send my old phone back. What happens if I don't return it? Due to me not having a printer and COVID-19 (meaning I can't go to a store where I can print the label), I won't be able to return my device on time. What happens if I either don't return the device, or return the device late? Will I get charged a fee or something? And if so, how much? I'll be able to print out a label for the device once I return to work and can go to the post office then to drop off the phone, but I don't think the device will reach the warehouse by the date they want me to return it by. Thanks in advance for any help.Solved7.2KViews0likes6Comentarios
