As of the past four days, I have been receiving numerous phone calls from 1-844-796-0648. I looked up the number and it seems to say on multiple websites that this is a scam claiming to be T-Mobile, so I have been ignoring the calls since. As of yesterday, I received a letter in the mail saying that I have an outstanding balance. I checked my account and there is no outstanding balance. The letter looked suspicious to me considering it does not look like any other letter I have received in the past from T-Mobile (the paper is different, there is no color to the paper, etc.). I looked up the phone number provided inthis letter as well which states it is the financial service department (1-888-310-8471). I found that this also seems to be a scam number as well. I guess my questions are: is anyone else dealing with this? is this actually a scam? if this is a scam, how did they receive my information (phone number and address)?Solved19KViews4likes11ComentariosWhy does T-Mobile limit Internet speed via hotspot by 1000 times? (Unlimited Plus, no traffic spent)
Hello, I connected a new "Unlimited Plus" plan to two of my mobile numbers in order to be able to share the Internet to another device. Speed test on the phone - 500-600 mbps. (In fact, these are relatively "laboratory" values. It is clear that when using, for example, YouTube, such a speed is not even close) When testing Internet speed on another device through a hotspot (hotspot from my phone with T-mobile, of course) - the speed is 0.3-0.5 mbps. This speed was immediate, on the day the new plan was activated. Therefore, there is no talk of a 10GB limit yet. I contacted T-mobile support many times, they are useless. We left a request (ticket) and had to respond within 3 days. It's been 2 weeks already. The other day I asked support about this ticket - they ignored the question. I asked for a call back - agreed and confirmed. There was no call. Disgusting service. I will change my mobile operator.62Visto0likes0ComentariosThe Elusive Veteran Status
Sooo I've been with T-Mobile since 2008. Initially I was on my ex husbands plan but got my own once we divorced in 2014. I'm a veteran. I've either been IN the military or a veteran since starting service with T-Mobile. My drivers license that is scanned each and every time I walk into the T-Mobile store has VETERAN printed on it. Always has. I noticed last week that I was on Magenta Max not Magenta Max Military. I called to get this taken care of. No one can figure out why I wasn't put on it initially. At first someone said I needed to verify my status. This didn't make sense to me because some other person told me that I was previously on a military plan. At first they tried to tell me I needed to verify a status that literally NEVER changes. Then someone else said I don't have to re verify my veteran status. Then another person said I have to verify this yearly….. which is it? Why was I taken off a military plan? No one can tell me why. I've been charged an extra 73 dollars a month for a regular plan for 19 months. This is almost 1400 dollars. Last week I was told that someone would call me within 72 hours. They did not. I even gave them an extra 24. I had to call T-Mobile. this time I'm being told they can't find where I was on a military plan because they can only go back 18 months. Well that's convenient. This happened at 19 months. At first I was offered 1 month 70 credit. That's all they could do. Then I spoke to someone different and it was 2 months…. Then someone different and it was three months. No one has the same access. Whether it's the new hire or the supervisor no one can see everything in order to verify anything. Every answer I've been given is different from the last. tonight I spoke to the world's worst supervisor, her name is Toni T. She basically told me that it's all my fault for not looking at my bill more closely…. I asked her how she would feel in my situation and what she would want in order to feel like she wasn't being scammed. She literally told me she would NEVER be in my situation because she looks at her bills. Wow…. Great customer service T-Mobile!!!! Way to keep people with this cellphone carrier!!! i asked for her supervisor, she doesn't seem to have one. I asked who signed her paychecks, no answer. I asked to be transferred and she refused. I'm truly disgusted with the way I was treated and I intend on going to their biggest competitor right after I scream my horrible experience from the rooftops of every social media platform I have access to. I may even dedicate an episode of my podcast to this experience. People need to know that T-Mobile does not care. They do not accept fault. They have no idea what's going on and they have some of the absolute worst people in high positions that have zero empathy for their customers and are clearly in a power trip. This woman said they would do NOTHING about this while three separate employees NOT at supervisor level offered to at LEAST give credit for 1 2 and 3 months because they know T-Mobile is in the wrong. This was literally the ONLY bill I thought I could trust not to screw me…… clearly I was wrong. Oh, if you happen to get transferred to a supervisor and it's Toni T….. just know you're about to be disrespected, she doesn't give a single f$&@ and she's on a power trip. She needs to be leveled out FAST.124Visto0likes0ComentariosT-Mobil is scamming leaving customers for “final bill”
I stayed with Tmobil for 25 months precisely. Made 25 payments. Ended my service with them on the last day of my billing cycle. Three days later my number was still not ported out so I called them again to ask why the number is not ported out. Thecustomer service representative told me that the member is ported out and we are even in terms of bill and if there is any bill for these three days then it would be paid from the 19 dollars phone credit that I am suppose to be getting from them in October. Instead I was sent a bill for whole month. They give me a lot of contradictory statements. Line the bill is for the previous month, then said that it was for a returned payments and much more. I have no previous bills and no return payments. I'm planning to contact BBB and Attorney General office. Also had contacted a law firm to file a claim and also see if they would be interested in bringing a class action.462Visto0likes4ComentariosHave I been scammedon the $830 promotional credit?
Can anyone explain tome how the $830 trade in credit works when you upgrade your plan to the new 5G? Surprisingly,T Mobile can not and I still don't know what they gave me for my trade in value but it wasn't $830. The man in the store broke it down this way… pay taxes and fees on any phone, trade in eligible device, sign up for the New 5G rate plan and we deduct the $830 from your new phone choice. You pay the difference for 24 months. So for an iPhone 14 pro max with tax and activation paid up front,That leaves a $1099 for the phone minus 830 is 269. That is roughly $11 month for 24 months for the phone. So why is the monthly $20???986Visto0likes2ComentariosNew billing policy
How is it that the FCC would allow T-mobile to start up-charging their customers if they're using a credit card which provides certain protections against fraud? T-mobile allowed my information to be compromised a year ago and I'm still dealing with the issues every day in the form of scam calls, texts and emails. But now T-mobile wants access to my bank account???!!! Definitely considering changing carriers. That is the most absurd business decision they have made. I believe everyone that had their information stolen because of T-mobile's lack of security should pursue legal action against the company! Defnitely a class action lawsuit viable for their lack of privacy protection and lack of response to the issues experienced by those who were the true victims in this matter.109Visto0likes3ComentariosAnyone else feeling scammed?
We have been customers for over 20 years and in the last 10 weekewe have been threatened, we have been lied to, we have gotten assurances that we have never received, and to top it all off, we got taken for over 700 dollars for a device that was in Tmobiles care for months. So I ask again, anyone else feeling scammed by T-Mobile?95Visto1like0ComentariosScam Shield settings
Any way to login to Scam Shield settings so I can edit scam-likely phone numbers from my laptop or PC? I know that Scam Shield goes through a server because it doesn't work unless the data is turned on for a phone. Scammers go through WhatsApp and can only turn that off by limiting data and WiFi.33Visto0likes0Comentarios
