For over nine months, my A51 only gives me an error message when I try to update system software, including the security update. I did a troubleshooting session with support and was only able to do a minor update. Since then, I've attempted further updates, still with no success.366Visto2likes10ComentariosNorton Password Manager UNUSABLE on T-Mobile Branded OnePlus 6T
I can no longer use Norton Password Manager on my T-Mobile Branded OnePlus 6T. The Norton Password Manager app (also the LG ThinQ app, possibly others as well) tell me my phone is rooted. However, I do not believe that, I have never rooted it. In addition, Norton 360 for Android tells me my phone is not rooted. However, I do get a "ROOTED" message for "Dangerous props" showing on the app, RootBeer Sample. I would like to tell you why I think that is, based on info I've been given. There are apparently two badly-written, or incorrectly-setvariables (0 or 1) on two files on the phone. Those files being, "ro.debuggable" and "ro.secure". At some point in time, possibly a recent security update to the device, the 0's and/or 1's in those two files were not "switched back" after the phone got its update. I believe it is POSSIBLE that it was an update T-Mobile "pushed." I have tried to coordinate this "flaw"--that's MY characterization--between OnePlus and Norton. But from what I have gathered, I believe T-Mobile now needs to take action to get this fixed. Can T-Mobile please help me out with this? (It is SO DIFFICULTwhen OnePlus makes the device, Norton makes the app, and T-Mobile provides the updates--what a nightmare!!!) One company is a bit impatient, so I need T-Mobile to check out the problem as quickly as possible. (For your info, the Norton app has already reached the point it is UNUSABLE, so please, help if you can. And I do not believe a "factory reset" will be helpful in this case--because remember, updated software is unaffected by "factory reset!")159Visto0likes2ComentariosAndroid 12 December 2022 security update for Thinq V60

Android security update and bug fixes January 5th 2023, are causing major problems with connection to both Wi-Fi and data which randomly turn off and turn back on hard reset factory reset rebooting nothing solves or cures this problem and I know it's the security patch that is causing this problem. OnePlus is not the only phone being affected by this January 5th security patch Samsung also has issued a warning do not install the T-Mobile update of course you didn't warn anyone you sent out the security patch and now I'm stuck with a broken phone. When are you going to release a fix? I hope you don't plan on making us wait 2 months for the next security patch.239Visto0likes4ComentariosUrgently need latest SPL for corporate/work account compliance
Hi, My 250,000+ corporate employer just blocked all corporate network access to Android Phones without the most recent Android SPL May'22.Can we get this rolled out ASAP on Galaxy S10 (I currently have April'22 while Google has rolled out one for August '22 as well)? When can we expect it? Apparently the security issues found were so risky that Corporate IT acted immediately/urgently to require it (normally there's a rolling 1 to 2 month window after Google releases to require the fix). Was hopingTMobile would allow me staying compliant with prompt SPL updates but will consider switching to another network if this isn't addressable in a timely manner. Thanks for your consideration and help!285Visto0likes5ComentariosCan I switch to Verizon get google sec updates and swtich back?
