service outage
7 TopicsSignal strength VAPORIZED. More downtime with T-Mobile Home Internet than I've ever had with any other ISP.
I got sick of the constant downtime that I experienced with Cox every time a tropical storm came through Louisiana, so I decided to give T-Mobile a try. There's no phone lines to fall down so the internet is always up, right? And since I already have 4 phone lines and 3 cellular devices with T-Mobile, it seemed like the right course of action and the price was attractive, although I would GLADLY PAY MORE for faster data (I can keep dreaming, right?) WRONG. T-Mobile home internet goes down like 5 times a day. I used to call it in but it happens now so frequently that it's a waste of time. They would tell me they're doing upgrades and to wait it out, toggle the power switch on/off and it usually came back on in 3-4 minutes. I stuck with T-Mobile thinking those "upgrades" would pay off, but they haven't and it's actually taken a turn for the worse. The outages are now lasting between 5-10 minutes and on top of that, I have an entirely new problem that didn't exist before: LOW SIGNAL STRENGTH. For 7 months, my gateway has been sitting in the same exact place. It's positioned right in front of the window, on top of 4 milk crates because it's the only place in the house where I can get 4 bars, but that's all come to an end because all of the sudden, out of nowhere, I only gets 2 bars now. This happened about 4 days ago and I haven't moved any furniture or anything, it just dropped from 4 bars to 2 and there's no other place in the house where I can get a decent signal. The only way I can get 3 bars, is IF I TAKE IT OUTSIDE. What's strange is that the symptoms are not consistent. Sometimes the cellular will go out on all my devices (which makes sense if T-Mobile is working on the tower) but other times, it's just the home internet that goes down. It's about 50/50. Do gateways just go bad? Is there any kind of extender?439Visto2likes4ComentariosHospital Can't Call!!!
Is anyone else experiencing this!? We just switched to T mobile. I have been frantic waiting to hear back from my medical provider only find out today from their office that they have been calling…lots. She guessed that we are on T Mobile and said that T Mobile has been blocking their calls and not allowing them to get ahold of patients! This is for a life-threatening issue for us and we have been waiting for the busy scheduler to get us in! If we miss our window for surgery and suffer ill-effects I think I need to look into suing! I don't want to even think about that, but we still have no way for them to get ahold of us. I opened up a new line with Verizon and gave them the number out of desperation! An additional insult to injury is that we were expecting to hear from a potential employer for a highly sought-after, time-sensitive position. We need this job, and assured that we would be contacted regardless. You guessed it, this is at a healthcare facility. So, aside from missing critical health-care calls we have potentially lost out on employment! Does anyone know what I can do? We have been on hold with chat and call for over an hour!211Visto0likes0Comentarios¿Cómo?
I am unable to use my service when I am not on wifi. An eSim has been installed and everything and I cannot make or receive calls outside of my home. When I am traveling I cannot even use Google maps. Nothing has been done about this and now I just received a bill... how do you expect me to pay for a service I am not even receiving?119Visto0likes8ComentariosHouston outage 77018
Cell service is terrible. Can only hear about ½ of others at most. Lots of fun when trying to hear what is going on with loved one's cancer plan. I can't figure out what the issue is. Our internet was down today also, thank to Comcast. I rebooted phone, turned off BT, WiFi calling, nothing helps. What's the problem, T-Mobile?85Visto0likes1ComentarioNo service for my "unlimited" plan! Can't make calls or texts without being connected to wifi?
Since I got on a new plan with t-mobile in 2022, I've been having issues receiving and sending texts and calls. I'll need to be connected to wifi most of the time to have service but I'm paying for an unlimited data plan and rarely have service when I'm out. Tmobile is stealing from me, I should not be paying this much to constantly be out of service! Especially when I need it most while I'm commuting or traveling. I recently got an unlocked phone compatible with tmobile from backmarket, not expecting much but once I put my SIM in the phone, this problem got 10x worse. I troubleshooted the network with customer service but nothing changed, and got a new SIM and the service did not improve. But now I look at my account online and it says the model of my phone is an iphone 12 when I actually have a samsung galaxy FE???? I'm so confused and I want my money back!51Visto0likes0Comentarios
