I got an unlocked s20+ 5g from Reebelo, and used SmartSwitch to copy EVERYTHING over from my old S10e. For a VERY brief period as SmartSwitch was doing its thing, I had delivered and read receipts on my texts in the normal Messages app. Once Smartswitch was done, that feature was gone, and the option wascompletely absent from my settings in individual messages and the Messages app. I tried a factory reset and it is still gone (did not use SmartSwitch OR Google backup OR Samsung backup). Hours of searching the interwebs for a solution has yielded no results (I have tried all the supposed fixes.) The only thing I saw that MIGHT work is someone talking about flashing the carrier's firmware to their unlocked phone. I found a tutorial on how to do this with the T-Mobile S20+ 5G firmware to my unlocked phone. My questions are: A: would this screw up my phone somehow? and B: Would this have any hope of even working to fix my read receipt/delivered options being gone from Messages? I do NOT want to use Google Messages. I hate it, and it doesn't have read receipts for SMS/MMS anyhow, and I do NOT wanna use RCS coz no one I text uses RCS so Google Messages just switches back and forth. In short, Google Messages is not an option for me. Help! I am open to ANY suggestions on how to get my delivered/read/typing options back! :) Thanks!Solved223Visto0likes2ComentariosT-Mobile says my phone is locked - is it?
I bought a Sony Xperia 10 III. I have a prepaid account for $15/month. I experiment with phones so I have other phones that I can put my SIM card into and they work. This new (to me) Xperia is off EBay. The seller says it is unlocked. Poking around on various websites seems to indicate that it is unlocked. When I check the IMEI using the T-Mobile BOYP website I get This device is fully compatible with T-Mobile's network technology. Este dispositivo es totalmente compatible con la tecnología de red de T-Mobile. El uso de este dispositivo no está bloqueado en nuestra red. Tu teléfono utiliza una tarjeta SIM física para guardar información de la cuenta móvil. When I use the Device information in the account for the block check, it says device not found. My SIM doesn't work in this Xperia. It shows T-Mobile and if I turn off the automatic network selection I can see the list of T-Mobile networks, but it won't connect. I have a bunch of old SIM cards. When I put a used Google Fi card in, it says I can use it but not for voice and text (well, it was used before in a different phone and cancelled). Same with a used AT&T GSM card. I've called support a couple of times and they tell me that the phone is locked. Is it really? I'm contacting the seller but haven't heard back yet.286Visto0likes10Comentariosphone lock
I've been with T Mobile for 5 plus years all paid up. I'm switching over to another carrier and my phone was locked. For 3 days now I've gotten the run around on getting my phone unlocked. Everyone I spoke to came up with a story. Since both phone lines Were cancelled I had to go to one of their locations in Morris Il. To show proof of identity. He was on the phone with T Mobile "Support" … and after 30 plus minutes he comes over to me and says it should be unlocked by the following morning. He said we could call him if it wasn't unlocked. Well I called his location and a woman answered who then said he wouldn't be in for a couple of days, so why did he even bother to tell me to call him the next day. So I was very heated and used some colorful language after she said to check at the end of the day… another BS story. She again says I need to come into their office to show proof of who I am. I did that yesterday a trip of 25 minutes which of course ended up being a complete waste of time . I NEED MY PHONE UNLOCKED. NOW!!32Visto0likes0ComentariosLocked out of new phone
I just got a new phone (Samsung S24+) and I've been using it just fine. Tonight I set it up with my work regarding a work profile and such, but now it won't accept my pin after restarting. There is no other pin that it could be, it has worked fine for 24 hours until now.36Visto0likes0ComentariosMobile Unlock

With the Flip 5 running OneUI 6.0, the user was not required to select the "Ok" when entering a PIN to unlock. When defining your PIN, the option not to require the user to select "Ok" when entering their PIN, is no longer an option. A step back in useful functionality, in my opinion!68Visto0likes2Comentarios
