Locked out of phone

I just got my Samsung Galaxy S23 today.  i set it up to unlock with my fingerprint, something updated and now it wants a password.  I don't remember it.  No option on phone to input forgot password.

    The device will always ask for your password or PIN (which ever you setup when setting up your fingerprint) after a phone reboot.

    I realize that.  I need to know how I can recover or reset said password or pin.
