Hey everyone, Been struggling with the NAT type issues on my home T-mobileWiFi 5G and my PS4. I just got this and can't sync up with my friends, let alone play online anymore. Does anyone have a fix for this?! I'm becoming quite desperate and exhausted with this issue and t-mobile tech support doesn't have an answer.38KViews8likes26ComentariosT-Mobile Home Internet Review
I have been using T-Mobile Home Internet for a couple of months now. I recently upgraded to the 5G Gateway, which has made my WiFi much better Vs. the LTE Gateway which sucked and had a lot of restrictions. The 5G Gateway is sleek, easy to use, and comes included with your Home Internet Plan! My experience has been exemplary, apart from a few issues. I have the following issues with T-Mobile Home Internet: •No UPnP Option which causes issues using XBL. •No Port Forwarding which causes a Moderate NAT on XBL •Some VPN applications do not work. •The Online GUI is limited and watered down. T-Mobile should really fix these issues, as it's bothering other Customers as well. Overall T-Mobile Home Internet is great for those who don't play on XBL, PSN, or PC or require a VPN to be used for work or personal use.28KViews5likes23ComentariosUPnP Issue with Xbox Live
Can anyone from Tmobile provide details on when or if Tmobile is actually planning on fixing their well known incompatibility issues with gaming consoles such as Xbox Series X? A clear answer is all we folks need to decide if we keep this internet service or not.…627Visto3likes1ComentarioTmobile 5g home internet + Xbox Series X not compatible
Thanks to T-Mobile's Test Drive, I can try out the home internet for 15days. I'm getting good speeds and so far so good… I was really happy with the service until……… It's not compatible with my Xbox Series X. Apps like YouTube, Twitch, Hulu all work. But if I want to play games online, that's where it doesnt work. I get disconnected from the games respective servers. Doing a test on the network I get UPnP unavailable. I can retest until the UPnP is available but as soon as I start playing a game online, it disconnects. I see that I can attempt to connect a wireless router but I cannot control any settings on the App or if I log into router via a web browser. The only thing I can do is change names and passwords, but nothing else. Can a wireless router be connected to the gateway? If so, which brands will work best? There are other posts about this issue but no answer. I hope there is a solution or else the home internet goes back to T-Mobile and they will lose out on $50/month.18KViews2likes23ComentariosNo Port Forwarding, no UPnP, when will this be resolved?
Searching the forums this has been a problem since tmobile home internet was launched. Several Closed topics indicate customers received feedback from tmobile that "is aware and working on a solution." Those same threads are 11 months old. When, if ever, will tmobile address the lack of UPnP, which limits functionality for most games and other streaming devices by resolving this or adding port forwarding capabilities?1.7KViews2likes1Comentario
