What settings should be configured for t-mobile under WiFi Managed Networks on the iPhone? Is it possible to hijack these settings and/or any security issues with these settings? I can set my settingsto anything and they seem to persist is that normal?857Visto0likes1ComentarioHow to configure WiFi Settings like Channel, bandwidth in TM Gateway Model: TMO-G4AR?
Hi all, I've TM Gateway Model: TMO-G4AR. Can someone please let me know how i can configure wifi settings like channel, bandwidth, 802.11 mode in this device? I was able to change the frequency band 2.4GHz/5GHz, but couldn't find settings to change channel, bandwidth. Also does this model supports simultaneous bands? I can select only one band in the T-Mobile App. Can someone help me with this? Thanks in advance!!Solved530Visto0likes3Comentarios- 52Visto1like0Comentarios
Sept 1 2023 update broke wifi
As the title suggests, the sept 1 2023carrier update broke my wifi on my Fold 2 5G. I am no longer able to enable it. I was checking my morning mail, got the update notification and ran it while getting ready for work. When I got into my car android auto wasn't working so I figured the update just messed up something so I plugged it in. Once at work I tried to enable wifi and it failed. So I'm 99.9% sure the update caused this. There is no option to rollback the update, though I did read that there was a secondary update sept 3rd or 5th, I don't remember specifically what date so I'm hoping that will resolve the issue whenever it's pushed. I've tried booting the phone into safe mode but the wifi will still not enable. I've got unlimited data so I'm not concerned about my bill, however this is very inconvenient as I do need to be on my work wifi in order to access certain things. I'm curious if this is a known issue or anyone else has come across this.78Visto0likes2ComentariosWhy is my gateway broadcasting multiple (6 of 2.4GHz) networks which I have not ever set up?
Hi, I have Arcadian gateway which I got a month ago, and have setup one network with my username and password different from the one provided on the device. I have noticed on multiple occasions that my iPad shows 6networks broadcasting, from my gateway. These networks have the same SSID as the default one, provided with the gateway with some extra (-2.4GHz_1).It looks like this: TMOBILE-7xxA-2.4GHz_1 TMOBILE-7xxA-2.4GHz_2 TMOBILE-7xxA-2.4GHz_3 TMOBILE-7xxA-2.4GHz_4 TMOBILE-7xxA-2.4GHz_5 TMOBILE-7xxA-2.4GHz_6 They are all password protected as I see a lock icon but I haven't tried to connect to any of these. After a minute of showing up they disappear. This does not happen everyday, onlyoccasionally. In the T-Mobile app, I only see the network which I have setup with custom name and password. Is my gateway hacked? Why is this happening and what should I do to get rid of this issue? Gracias43Visto0likes0Comentarios
