Well hello. I have bought a new in box unlocked Tmobile compatible LG Aristo 5 from a legit seller on eBay to replace LG Aristo 2 Plus that kept breaking andwas repeatedly replaced by bad refurbs via my warranty and now is just bad but still usually works except internet connection now is failing too damn often. Question is: Will someone atthe store help me migrate the contents of my old phone to new one? Does it cost? $$$? i am a longtime TMcustomer, old & decrepit, they always swap my SIM card or test battery etc or troubleshoot it for me in store bc I dont know how to do this myself as I said I am old. But this is moving everything and don't know if they will do that. I bought this one bc I have always hadTmobile and LG Aristos and can't afford the phones TMobile sells now like Samsung or iPhone and no, icouldn't qualify for a free or cheap one by adding another line or trading in my LG even though I had gotten all my old LGsfrom TMobile; LGsare simply not eligible trade ins anymore. Just need to getthis Aristo 5working without being laughed out of the store. Not a joke and sincerely thanks in advance. PS to be honest I admit I really have two lines and two Aristo 2 Pluses now, the first being bad and the second one is totally dead. So I have bought two new Aristo 5s, not one, for myself and another equally inept person, so this is a big deal for us. Up front, I am a "senior citizen" andnon-technical.But I can still read a bill, and I really want to switch to TMobile home internet to save money. We have nothad any options in Tampa, FL besidesSpectrum andFrontier until recently. Constant outages, pricesalways going up, everything bundled and "on promo," promos expiring, andthey are shiftingtheir interestto business customers. We are retirees who goonline with4G TMobile phones, do email,have a laptop we don't use, andstream Netflix and Hulu TV with Roku TV. Wedon't even watch the TV that comes withcable. So compared to most people's our setup is primitive. But we doneed something reliable. We have had decent customer service for phone issues (usually ended up going down to the store). The store has already told usany internet performance issues would have to be handled by the call center or website (is this true?), andtheinternet specialist at the call center said they can't discussTV, onlyinternet (although they did offerto sell mea new phone.)Installing apps,connecting equipment, moving channels aroundwill be challenging, but possibly huge cost savings ($50/mo and if you bundle withthe TM phone plan for age 55+ which we noe have,it is further discounted to$40).
