Re: 5G Home Internet T-Mobile Gateway needs to be fixed. There are too many internet disconnections.
Over 3 weeks without our Gateway functioning and waiting for our second replacement. It worked perfectly for nearly a year and now it won't connect to the internet. Each time I've been on the phone, we do the troubleshooting and I ask about the towers...no clear answers. I live in a rural area. We've come to depend on the gateway access. If I look it up on a map, it shows it's not available in our area, yet we've used it steadily for a year...then suddenly, it stops. They graciously gave me 100 GB of data on my phone's mobile hotspot, but it's gone already. (Plus, they took the $35 fee off for the data boost. Gee, thanks) I'm no IT expert but if our phones work with mobile hotspots just fine, why not the gateway? And the fact they can boost our high speed data temporarily for the inconvenience? I say it's ridiculous and grossly unfair to remove our access to the gateway service after we become dependent and accustomed to having great Internet access. But when the 3rd gateway gets here, if it doesn't work, I'm not sure what I'm going to do...or say. But I'm re to go back to our previous provider.1Ver1like0ComentariosRe: Nokie Gateway Sudden Packet Loss
I'm having the same problem. I've had aGateway for about a year with no problems. As of about 3 weeks ago, it's not working.Internet is not available on the Gateway. My devices can connect to it but with no internet connection...what good is that? Phones are working fine, even the mobile hotspots work (which is what I've been using and with a generous upgrade to 100GB by tmobile, wow!). I'm on my 2nd Gateway and waiting on a 3rd. I've donethe troubleshooting (factory resets on and off the phone with tech support)on both devices so far and nothing has changed. I'm in a rural area and our options are limited as far as having a steady internet connection...and even if I wasn't in a rural area the prices are outrageous. I've been with other providers and it usually boils down to "initially great service to gotcha, you've been tricked." You have to wonder if all of the execs from all of the major carriers sit around laughing at these forums...I'm exhausted from dealing with people when I call who have no clue as to what I'm talking about. But they kinda have you screwed. If you want internet and mobile phone service, you have to deal with them, especially in my case. I guess going back to what I had in 1980 is my only choice. No internet or cell phone. Just a landline and the postal service.12Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: 5G home internet - connection innteruption -support contacted
It's been almost 2 weeks since the Gateway stopped connecting to the internet. From that first call, they sent a new Gateway. (I've had service using the Gateway for almost a year with no problem). Less than a week later I received the new one. Same problem. Called to get help, resetting and aALL the other troubleshooting steps, she created a ticket to send to the engineering department. I was told they were "enhancing" the tower or some BS like that, so I was told to be patient. Still having the same problem with it. Just got off the phone with them and now, they're sending another Gateway. This rep couldn't definitely say anything. First it was tower issue but then the new Gateway isn't working. I asked "which is it?". All I got was everything I said repeated back to me. Beyond frustrating. On the site, when you type in my address it says "not available in your area". But I've had nearly a year. I was told by the 2nd rep that there are X amount of slots available for each area, if I had one, it would still be available. So, I'm pretty fed up. If it's towers, fine. But let customers know what you are doing. But they can't because they obviously don't know!6Visto0likes0Comentarios
