I found the the T-Mobile home internet gateway does seem to work better with a fan. I was able to find a fairly quiet fan with a temperature sensor. This had made the unit much more stable. I still have to reset it occasionally, but not multiple times a day. I think T-Mobile should work with Nokia to provide a optional fan attachment.
