Re: Will $10/month give me proper service?

Ironically …I asked that question 'years' ago on the T-mobile one plan, (and the Simple Choice plan) when I was told that I 'reached my monthly quota'. Obvious answer is .. no. I've never once come even close to exceeding my "monthly quota". At most I might get 4 or 5 texts and about the same number of phone calls assuming they even get through.2Visto0likes0ComentariosWill $10/month give me proper service?
Now that my guaranteed $70/month service has gone up $10/month will now both people be able to hear both sides of a conversation on WiFi rather than one party only hearing? Also will I get "Voice Mails" and "Texts" the same day or continue to get them 1,2,3 days later? Was considering dropping Spectrum for Internet but given this level of service and ZERO support, no thanks. Also, strange that my wife's phone, same as mine, receives emergency notifications while most of the time I do not even when sitting in the same room. These phones/service are great for many things but as a phone they are pathetic.38Visto0likes3ComentariosRe: WiFi calls typically drop to one-way audio about 5min into calls
New [1.5 month old] T-Mobil customer with 2 new Motorola G Stylus phones and on a good day 1 bar of 5g, 4g, LTE service at my home. It appears the phone never can settle on just a cell or WiFi connection if both services are running on the phone. Any attempt to use WiFi initially failed with one way audio issues assuming I'd even have the phone ring. Most inbound calls just go to voicemail with the phone never ringing. Searching the Web this certainly appears to be a well known but never addressed issue. TEMP solution: Turn on Airplane mode->Turn WiFi back on then we can make/receive calls via WiFi, at home, without issue. Problem is, if we forget we are in Airplane mode and leave the home, we don't get any calls. Attempted Solution: Use a 3rd party APP Tasker to turn on Airplane mode when the phone sees my home WiFi and then turn WiFi back on [airplane mode initially shuts WiFi off] all while we remain at home. HOWEVER, Android [I believe] will NOT allow Tasker to turn Airplane mode OFF when we leave the house. I'm not about to try Rooting a new set of phones to correct a T-Mobile created problem. Secondary problem if at home and in Airplane mode using WiFi,and attempt to send a Text MME message, the text will go through but not a picture unless you happen to notice the picture was not sent and tell the phone to try it again. It will then send the picture. I've posted this on numerous forums, and I'll have to say I used to get more help from Republic Wireless forums for various issues than anything T-Mobile related. Very disappointing as I was looking forward to T-Mobile Home Internet if and when it becomes available in my area. Such lack of service however, tells me I should stay with Spectrum.4Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: WiFi Calling not working suddenly
This lack of WiFi is rendering T-Mobile and our new phones useless as we are in a weak T-Mobile coverage area and if WiFi is on, IF we actually get a call, only one side of the conversation is heard. If anything it would be a benefit to T-Mobile to have as much traffic over WiFi as that frees up more bandwidth for cell service. A WiFi call in my case would go over Spectrum's network. As we spend 90% of our time at home, WiFi must be available. It was until I switched to T-Mobile. Come on, we put multiple men on the moon and we can't get WiFi to work? Maybe relying on "off shore" programmers is not the best tactic.7Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: WiFi Calling not working suddenly
Had a Moto X{2nd gen} and Moto G7 Power on Republic wireless and used our home WiFi extensively as cell service stinks in our area. Just switched to T-Mobile with 2 new Moto G Stylist 5G phones, which, in town, get 5 bars but at home, 1 bar is the best if we get it. When attempting a WiFi call with one or both phones in the house on Wifi only one side of the conversation can be heard. Reset both phones & router, verified the router was assigning an IP address to both but my Wife can hear me but I cannot hear her. Only when both phones are on cell only, WiFi shut off/ T-Mobile WiFi also shut off can both sides of a call be heard.11Visto0likes0Comentarios
