Frustrating and Inconvenient to Upgrade my Plan
I am sharing so that T-Mobile is aware and can fix their process. Upgrading my line has been increasingly inconvenient and frustrating. I am on a family plan and I am trying to upgrade my line since I am now an adult and have a full time job. The store cannot help me and they tell me to contact the T-Mobile app directly after wasting 60 minutes of my time. I contact T-Mobile directly for the first time and they require a 3 way phone call with the account owner which cannot be scheduled at the time so I go another week without the service I am trying to purchase. T-Mobile makes no effort to follow up. I made a second attempt to contact T-Mobile and I am told that I cannot upgrade my account without providing the owner's social security number and pin. This is private information I am not willing to ask for and I was told this is the only way. I wasn't even given the phone call option from my first attempt. The account account owner is happy to authorize my ability to upgrade my line, but we havenot been able to make this happen because T-Mobile has made it difficult every step of the process. I am frustrated and about to switch over to ATT. T-Mobile operators don't care and have denied me every opportunity to solve these problems. I imagine they are not even giving the tools or flexibility to help their customers. The plan I am upgrading two will cost 4x as much as I'm paying right now and T-Mobile is making it impossible to get the service I want to pay for. T-Mobile please just take my money or I will take it elsewhere. Even better is that I am not even able to shop around and understand my final outthe door price because of these blockers. I may finish the process and not even be happy with the price + fees which would have made this frustration increasingly in vain. I would appreciate if somebody contacted me to confirm they have received and understand my complaint and give me the ability to upgrade my service plan.
