Re: MESH EXTENDER
PLCFLuser wrote: I don't use any of the T-Mobile mesh extenders. I connect my own mesh network to their gateway via ethernet cable. That way no matter what internet provider I use, my wireless network is mine. Try eero on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/eero-reliable-gigabit-connect-Coverage/dp/B08ZK2BHP2/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3SGZRGSFLMV0&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.D9Vz65-5zwO7wvNVTpoQIKdJy9rI5xvvUBy7HqnBy9_R9xAVyY4Mk-4MYfZp5nrVrPsip9FydiYJ1An4FmV_Qq7S3XKN7yIZk-IthziAFboS1fC5s_F-txSWDpza2rl5urEC1dR2LMaGc0HG87fe-h1spkTlYZtrDMkN25Q5o09aSRN8amz1w8YtSWMzjjHB6s4nC7zilaGqFHq-2il1r6OPI1Frre7XLbT-iQdi5hk.veQSYnq-p6C8xTvVtSqTCFPifRQtcR6o7XOD31kXI84&dib_tag=se&keywords=eero+mesh+wifi+system&qid=1724614670&sprefix=eer%2Caps%2C127&sr=8-1 Thanks for the info. But I'm not spending my money to cover for their inefficient products that repeatedly fail when it's part of service they offer/promote. I'm getting GFiber installed tomorrow.38Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: white mesh extender
Maggs1976 wrote: I'm having the same issue when trying to set up my wifi mesh access point. I'm setting it up in the T Life app and every time, the set up fails. However, the light is solid green. I have no idea if it is actually connected or not. Green means connectrd. But, it'll probably fail soon, based on my experience. They'll run you through all the same set up crap, you'll waste hours on the phone, and they'll continue to fail. You'll be running to store or UPS to return/swap out these pieces of crap. And then you won't be able to add anymore because the ones never drop off your account, and you'll have to switch to a new provider....like I did yesterday.45Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: MESH EXTENDER

Cycling power does nothing. The status light is solid white and the unit is a brick. Any ideas? I'm on #3 and have only had their Internet since June 18. No way to remove extenders from acct, or add more than 3. After about 2 hours on the phone yesterday, they have 24 to manually remove mine from acct to try and reconnect #3. Not done yet. I called and ordered GFiber to replace this nonsense.86Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Remove WiFi Mesh from account

I do not see a way to remove them in any of the apps on iPhone, Droid, the website and the old internet app. I suggested they disconnect my account and then reactivate it. Agents do not have the ability to remove them from the call center. Does anyone know how to remove them from your.account? I am on failed extender #3. When I returned #1 and picked up #2 in store they told me #1 would drop off. It never did, nor did #2 when it failed. Now #3 failed and the same thing....no way to remove any. They have 2 more hours to manually delete from my account, per lengthy phone calls yesterday. They offered to send #4, but I had to explain how I wouldn't be able to activate it! Tech said next update we'd have ability to do so. I'll not find out as I ordered GFiber yesterday. I have had T-Mobile internet since June 18, and have spents HOURS on the phone with tech support because of these crappy mesh extenders.13Visto1like0ComentariosRe: MESH Extender - Solid White Light
HeavenM wrote: Hey there. Is there any indicator or errorin the T-Life app about your Mesh Access Point? OurHome Internet Plus | T-Mobile 5G Home Internetpage has a lot of great information about setting upand resetting the mesh device. The troubleshooting flows are quick and easy to follow and then they provide the contact information for the best team to help with the mesh. They're going to continue to fail, based on my experience and whatever the tech for their external 24 hour support told me. I'm on extender #3 since I signed up June 18. It failed last night.80Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: MESH Extender - Solid White Light
Miadlor wrote: Same happened to my Mesh 4 days in. Solid white light. Contacted tech support. Instantly told me adapter needs to be replaced. Said it would be 7 days. Then said I could replace it at the store. Brought to the store and they stated they couldn't replace it in the system. Set the junk back and canceled service. Now it's either defective equipment or no one actually knows the fix since I see a lot of people having the same issue. I'm on mesh extender # 3. When I returned to store #1 (first finding out the store near me couldn't swap out, and had to drive 20 mins to other store and wait about an hour), they told me the original one would drop off account. It never did, and neither did #2 which I insisted they mail, even though I still had to return it by UPS with a return shipping label they sent (and I couldn't print because I e never been able to get my printer to connect to the new wifi). #3 went out last night, and thought I could reset and add as new. But, app said "3 of 3" in use. I've spent about 2 hours in phone, and I'm giving them 24 hrs to remove all extenders from account to try and reconnect #3 as new. They said they're working on us being able to remove the extenders ourselves in app. If they can't remove manually, and I can't get #3 reconnected, I'm cancelling my service. You were smart to can el when you did.34Visto0likes0Comentarios
