Re: DIGITS App Logs Out Too Frequently
syaoran wrote: This is a Windows issue as Windows in a more recent update, puts apps idling into efficiency mode and even to sleep. Even if you disable efficiency mode, it will still do it regardless. Thanks, but I'm not sure about that, as I have 7 other apps that are currently in efficiency mode (according to Windows Task Manager), but none of them log me out. For example, Slack. Just because an app goes into efficiency mode doesn't mean it has to log out. The Digits "app" is nothing more than a web page open in an Edge app Window. There are lots of websites that keep me logged in from visit to visit, and I would expect the same with Digits. If nothing else, then at least a warning to Windows message center. Otherwise Digits is mostly useless.7Visto1like0ComentariosDIGITS App Logs Out Too Frequently
I have the DIGITS app installed on my Windows desktop machine. For a couple months it was letting me go a week or more between log-ins. This week I'm finding it has automatically logged the app out within hours or a day at most. In the past couple days, I've missed EXTREMELY important phone calls and texts that have left one of my kids STRANDED away from home. I RELY on this app to work as advertised -- to deliver text messages and phone calls that might be important. This is the type of app that should just stay logged in for the entire day if not forever since there is no predictability of when a text will be received. (Also, the FEEDBACK link in the DIGITS app and on the DIGITS web page has never worked. Does T-Mobile not want our feedback?!?)Re: Using the Digits App and separate contacts?
@tmo_ian I see the contact deletion button in DIGITS, BUT there seems to be no way to ADD contacts to the DIGITS-only contact list. Total pain trying to remember whose number is whose when messages come in. I do not want to (and never have) sync it with my Google or Microsoft accounts. I wouldn't mind syncing it with my actual phone's contact list. But what I really want to do is to add people to a DIGITS-only phone book!!!3Visto0likes0ComentariosView this encrypted message on your phone?
Recently, whenever my wife sends me a text message, it has started appearing in DIGITS (desktop) as "View this encrypted message on your phone." Why would this have changed? Having to view messages on my phone rather than in DIGITS for me defeats the entire purpose of using DIGITS. (And don't get me started on the inability of DIGITS to receive messages from 'short code' numbers!!!) Messages used to come through as readable from her. She sends them as she always has, though I did get a new phone about a month ago… though I don't see how that would effect the way I see the messages in DIGITS.289Visto1like1ComentarioRe: T DIGITS , NO SMS .
Messages from SOME senders -- INCLUDING FROM T-MOBILE -- never come through. For example, if I am logging in on your t-mobile.com website and the site determines it needs dual-factor authentication, it sends me a message that I never get. Same is true with most other websites when it comes to dual-factor codes coming in.7Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Certain texts not coming through DIGITS app?
So frustrating. This is half the reason I liked the idea of the DIGITS app on my home computer. Otherwise dual-factor logins require me to get my phone, wait for it to boot up, and then wait until text messages start coming in. This is generally a 10-minute pain in the butt that the DIGITS app was supposed to fix.9Visto0likes0Comentarios
