Re: Unusable Virtual MasterCard

Any better than the cable company? I just joined this week. Having some definite CSR issues with getting addons and that sort of thing (we did internet and phone service at once). But as far as internet, it was dead simple to set up, even a mesh network and I've gone from sporadic 20mbps service over phone line to over 700kbps! I'm very rural so this was a pleasant surprise. We do get frequent very short drops (like 2-3 sec) that I am trying to resolve, but very happy to say goodbye to my DSL service.405Visto1like0ComentariosSetting up PAH and other new customer issues.
Brand new customer here after 15 years with another carrier. Got my equipment on Monday and have been trying to get up and running since. I signed up online and was rushed through all the addon stuff at the end (after 90 minutes of high pressure sales) and was told "don't worry, you'll get a transcript of this chat with all the links and instructions so you can do it later". This also included a rebate for signing up for internet. This transcript never came and I was also really struggling to port out of our old account. Got a great CSR through chat yesterday that finally got our phones ported in after hours of me failing to do so on my own the day before. The local store didn't seem to want to help once they knew we had already signed up and bought hardware online. Wasn't the best start, but this CSR made my day. Until we were trying to get the netflix and appletv set up. The links went to my husband's phone - who isn't tech savvy at all. She told me that when the lines were ported in, his showed as the primary. which was true, but I signed us up and the bill and autopay are attached to me, not him. I asked if we could move PAH to me since I would be doing all of the setup, etc. No problem! she said, and on her side it said I was. Not so on my side. We eventually ended the call with me having to set up a second Tmobil ID - the first one ended up attached to just our internet service. She said she was calling back today to finish the add on setup, but i never heard anything so I thought I would try here. She was insistent that I was now PAH but the app and the desktop site say otherwise and I can't even update autopay or anything. Our netflix and appletv still need to be set up, but with no PAH on the account now, I am dead in the water. Every time I think I got to something that might help, it ends up a dead link. I did manage to add my husband's number to my tmobilID, but that appears to be a mistake and now can't even set up a tmobilID for him as it shows that number already has one (mine). Sohe can do nothing and i appear only as a standard user.54Visto0likes1ComentarioRe: Internet CONSTANTLY drops
Following. Brand new customer this week, got tired of our DSL dropping every time it rained, or was infested with fire ants, field rats and other aspects of rural life. Claimed we were in the fastest 5g possible, which amazed me given how rural we are. Best spot I have found for my modem (sorry, gateway!) gets a solid 3 bars. To go from erratic 20Mbps to over 700 at times BLEW MY MIND. The mesh unit got signal to our shop for the first time. Then the drops started. Only a few seconds each time, but it's 700 to zero and back. Our phones appear to go to data during this too. Anything I shouldbe trying or does it sound like we are on the service edge? Guessing the towers are on a mountain ridge I can clearly see from the house most days. Our new phones are getting 2 bars sitting 10 feet from the modem, but 4 bars across the house and away from the mesh node (but towards where i think the towers are).44Visto0likes0Comentarios
