Re: Nintendo Switch w/NOK 5G21 Gateway

Two months of trying everything left me with a NAT type D and an inability to connect. SOLUTION THAT WORKED: Ordered from Amazon, an official Nintendo "Wired Internet LAN adapter" The weak spot on the Switch seems to be that it is wireless without an ethernet plug in. This adapter allows ethernet to be plugged in through the USB. Instantly up to NAT type B and racing my heart out. Did not even have to institute plan B which was to use this product AND kick everybody else off of the connection. Still pissed at T-Mobile for making me sinking hours into solving an issue that should have never existed, but glad to be on the other side of this. This solution is perfect for those that are not tech savy and are intimidated by the talk of VPNs. Hi, does this solution still work?13Visto0likes1ComentarioRe: Hulu Live

This would be an issue for Hulu to rectify, not T-Mobile. Hulu's live TV doesn't work on T-Mobile home Internet | Ars Technica Not true. this can be done with a different network configuration and segmentation by the carrier, that is a T-Mobile problem. It may be possible that there was something either side could do to make things work. I do know that every other streaming service works with TMHI. Practically speaking, there is more competition for Live TV streaming services than home internet, so if I change something to make this work, it's not going to be my home internet.18Visto0likes0ComentariosWill using my own router resolve some issues with the T-mobile router?
I'm having a few issues with my 5g T-mobile gateway/router (the cylinder) with my HP printer and maybe my Roku (I stopped seeing its Wi-Fi a few days ago). What I'm wondering is, if I use my own router in bridge/AP mode and connect to that, will that resolve potential issues I'm seeing? Or no, since it's all part of the same network anyway?9KViews0likes7ComentariosRe: Connect Brother DCP-L2540DW printer to tmobile Home WiFi
Thanks to @MisterKfor posting about the wireless setup utility, that is way easier than using the interface on the printer. I was finally able to get the printer working with the T-mobile internet by doing the following: Using 2.4 GHz Using WPA/WPA2 (TKIP+AES) using n/g. There may be some other configs that work, but that worked for me. I was also able to connect to my personal router wireless. However, I am not using Bridge Mode, I have it in router mode (I need a W-Fi network with parental controls for my kids). The problem with this is that I need to also point my computer to this Wi-Fi in order to print, but I prefer to stay on the T-Mobile Wi-Fi.32Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Will connecting everything to my personal router's WiFi resolve the double NAT issue?
iTinkeralot wrote: The T-Mobile gateway will not allow NAT to be disabled so to avoid double NAT issues the solution is to use the personal router in bridge mode and only allow DHCP address allocation via the T-Mobile gateway. I would like to do this; the issue is I like to enforce parental controls at the router level in some manner, either through an alternate DNS (i.e. CleanBrowsing) or the Circle Home device.43Visto0likes0ComentariosWill connecting everything to my personal router's WiFi resolve the double NAT issue?
Because the T-mobile modem/router doesn't support changing DNS servers or the Circle device, I need to utilize my own router in non-bridge mode. If I connect all my devices only to my personal router's WiFi, do I bypass the double NAT issue, or no?2.6KViews0likes7Comentarios
