I just found this on another forum and it changed my NAT type from D to B on the switch. I'm waiting for my brothers to wake up and see if it'll actually connect this time. I'll update if it works but in the meantime this is what I found and followed.3Visto1like0ComentariosRe: Mobile Phone Hotspot not letting me play multiplayer games

Go back to the precious screen, Access Point Names... click...Addand give it whatever name you want. Mimic the settings you took note of but changeAPN Protocol&APN Roaming ProtocoltoIPv4Tap the 3 vertical dots at the top and hit save. Now select your newly created Access Point, your service should disconnect then reconnect. hope this helps other, workedfor me for league of legends if this don't work try settingAPN Protocol&APN Roaming ProtocoltoIPv4/IPv6 If this helps any one post your outcome with the name of game your playing maybe some one can buy this old wounded warrior a meal (will Code For Food) :P I am so hopeful that this may work to fix the problem with my son's switch. It's been showing NAT type D for so long, and after following this instruction it changed to B. We moved across country and it's so important for my son to be able to play games with my little brothers. It helps the distance not feel so big. Anyways when one of them wakes up and can log on I'm really interested to see if it'll finally work. If so I just want to thank you truly from my heart because in this circumstance it's more than just gaming, it's family time and connection between my childrenand siblings.10Visto1like0ComentariosRe: Nintendo Switch w/NOK 5G21 Gateway

Whatworked for me,was going into the GUI and renaming the bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), to essentially "separate" them so I could connect to the 5 GHz band on my switch, which seems to havesolvedthe connection problem. How were you able to rename the bands? I have no idea what I'm doing here. We moved very far away from my family and I'm trying to help my son be able to connect with my little brothers for gaming on the switch. NAT type D here with the internet and A on their end. I don't get any of this it's way above my understanding. I'm on the Tmobile internet app trying to figure out the rename to see if it helps.21Visto1like0Comentarios
