Blocking SMS Short Code Texts From Third-Party Service I Paid For
I am a mobile Notary Public and signed up for a services to help me scheduling my appointments. This service works by sending text messages to me providing appointment details and URL links . Unfortunately, T-Mobile has been blocking their text messages during the past year and the service reports that they have other T-Mobile clients that have had their messages unblocked and I should contact T-Mobile to have this fixed. This has caused me to lose thousands of dollars in services I provide and has given me a bad reputation for not responding to appointments with these other companies. I see that you've unblocked others. Would you please unblock SMS short codes from third-party services to my account as well? Every day this is costing me more money.
messenger. i actually used it for the first time earlier this week..was not a bad experience...plus i detest having to call in lol..or make calls period lol

dont post your personal info..the site here is fully public...so everyone and their mom now know your number.
are you able to receive any other short code texts from any other companies or this is the only one you are having issues with?

another couple options would be through either Facebook or Twitter..which more often than not is the preferred method since you start off with tier 2 support instead of the call in tier 1 support agents.
if either of those two are an option for you scroll down to the bottom of this page and you’ll see the contact us options for FB and Twitter there.

Odd that they didn't know what you were talking about because short codes are a common service and we have a lot of resources to help us fix when things go wrong. You can try calling 611 again and ask about short codes being blocked or blacklisted. You can also message us through the T-Mobile app or website after you sign in. There are also message options through Facebook and Twitter. I hate to send you in circles, but I just don't have access to account details here through the community. If there is a block

To test your ability to receive short code traffic (Not USSD codes that start with #) send help to that code. 73981(Bank of America) 93557 (Wells Fargo) 22000(Google)
If you get a response then T-Mobile is passing all traffic.
USSD -Self service calling codes (Dialed from voice app.) #225# https://www.t-mobile.com/support/plans-features/self-service-short-codes
Commercial Short/Long Codes- (Sent/Received in messaging app.) 456 Billing, 3340 TMO Tuesday’s, 1112 Surveys, 22000 Google.
If you get an error immediately on an Android device check Settings>Applications> 3 Dots top right> Special access> Use premium text> select “Always allow or Ask” to enable.
Leave at “Never allow” to block outbound commercial short code traffic.
Hope this helps.

Hello fireguy_6364,
I've stopped receiving all short code texts. I thought that I was sending a DM, not the community.

Hello Faucher,
Sorry for the confusion but this is a public thread. He has been able to help in the past with similar issues, but may not be able to response since this is just something he helps with in his free time. Because the issue you are having also effects other short codes, the best route would be to contact our care team. You can all in to talk to our Team of Experts or message us through the app, website, Facebook, or Twitter. They have access to your account information and can help make sure that all short codes are working. If there is a specific short code that is not coming through after troubleshooting steps, they have a ticket process that gets your information to the right place to get everything resolved.
I hate to see that you are losing money over an issue like this! I have no doubt that our Team of Experts or T-Force team will be able to fix it up in a jiffy.

@fireguy_6364 ,
When using Facebook, do you use Messenger or post your issue in the forum? - FaucherRoaming Rookie
@fireguy_6364, I preempted your response, doing just that. I received an initial response that thanked me for verifying my account and 30 min. later they are finally on the chat!
