Down payment for the supposedly free moto g stylus 5G 2022?
I bought new Moto g stylus 5G 2022 almost 1 month ago. When I bought this device, T mobil said it would be free. They said I would pay 240 $ down payment but I would get it back. However, on the first date I purchased this device, I saw I was charged 301 $ from my credit history. I also see that I have to pay 2.5 $ per month for 24 month on Equipment Installment Plans. How it will be free? When will I get the down payment back? Why am I still paying for this device?

No one here has access to your account and so, can't answer account specific questions. Generally, when T-Mobile says a phone is "free" it means that after 24 months the net cost is zero (less sales tax), not that the phone has no cost. The objective is to get you to stay with T-Mobile for two years in exchange for a phone.

I also got this phone a month ago it came with a broken touch screen reception doesn't work 85% of the time. Worst phone I've ever had and it was supposed to be free for signing up with a new line which it wasn't so T-Mobile just lies and sells crap phones. Upgrading this to an iPhone 13 or 14 ASAP
