How to send 2fa verification code to different phone line on the same family acct ?

Signed up for tmobile recently and verification code goes to one of the 4 lines in the family 5g+ account (it is a child phone line) . How do i change it so the verification code is sent to different phone line on the same account?

Have you signed into your Mytmobile account and checked the line settings?

@gramps28@syaoran  might have more of an idea as to where to go than i do.

Sometimes when porting in or when converting over from Sprint.  The lines don't always end up in the right order, which can lead to the line associated with the PAH being assigned to the wrong number out of the numbers on the account.  Customer Care at 611 or reaching out to the T-Force Team by sending a DM to T-Mobile on Facebook or Twitter can make sure that gets resolved.

  • does what you are trying to verify have anything to do with their line or phone? might be why its going to them. or did their line end up being marked as the primary account holder perhaps?

No it has nothing to do with their line. Just to login to t-mobile site from new device sends a verification code to this other number on my acct.  I have to track down my child to get the number. Seems like it is marked as the primary acct holder. How do you change that ?

    Gracias
