How to send text message from desktop to a phone number?
Can I send a message to a phone number from my desktop? What would be the format? I have various email accounts, Yahoo, Gmail, Microsoft 365, to name a few. Also, is it possible to read my text messages via the T-mobile dashboard or somewhere else?
(I have an android phone if that matters.)
If you are trying to send e-mail to text. That service is blocked with the exception of verified companies who are confirmed with T-Mobile to not spam.
If you mean text to text, as mentioned above. Digits is one of the best ways of doing so. There are also a few Android SMS/MMS apps, like Pulse, that offer that feature through various methods of subscriptions. You could also try Google Voice as a free alternative.
If you would like to use your mobile number for your outgoing SMS, you can use Messages by Google. You can send from a browser via the URL https://messages.google.com/web/authentication.
If you just want to send SMS from your desktop, you can get a Google Voice account and send SMS from your Google Voice account.
