JOD 50 percent

Is there any way I can make an extra payment to 50 percent or more and then upgrade? I don't want to pay the whole lease amount to upgrade. Like... the remaining balance of a 189 lease is 126. An estimate amount to 50 percent or more is about 33 dollars.
