New order with existing number but a new number is shown in my account
Hola,
I have ordered a new phone and added an existing number to a new line to my account. The customer service helped me creating the order. But when I check my account today, I found my number is not added to my account but a new number is added to my account.
Want to check if this is normal or I need to go to a store to correct it
if you are moving over from another carrier with your number usually until its finalized you end up getting a temp number. might be what you are seeing here?

Although it’s from the same carrier, I think this is still the case.

Like the above stated, if you are porting in T-Mobile a temporary mobile # is activated then replaced once the port is completed. I would log in after 24 hours to make sure it is no longer showing.

Updates for this thread:
They really accidentally gave me a new number. I called them to try to replace the number and they deleted the new line and add my number to the account. But although they promised the promotion of the phone will be kept, the promotion was actually gone after the operation. I called them again to add back the promotion. They then accidentally add the line back instead of the promotion. I called again to correct this. They create a request for me and the request was denied. So I called them again to remove my self from TMobile. What a mess here...

sorry to hear that. i know usually when you switch carriers you end up with a temp number until everything is fully switched but yeesh..
