Notification update for Flip4phone
My fairly new Flip4 phone has a notification for a software update. No way to know if this is legit, what it is for, or any way to just clear it off that I can find. Does TMobile send update notifications without any way to verify that it is legit, what it is for, or if you can opt out (my phone is working just fine)?
My father has a new t mobile FLIP PHONE. The only way to get updates overnight is to have the phone shut down?or off?
the manufacturer sends out said updates..you could check with the manufacturer to see what it is. if i were to guess its probably a security patch or maybe something updating how it handles the network.
is it coming across as a text or as a notification through the phone itself?
