Hey there! Great news! I was able to find a AAA promotion for a $50 rebate, so it is not a scam. You do need to submit for the rebate at promotions.t-mobile.com with promo code 240186 within 45 days of activating your new account. A rebate submission is required for each ported line. Rebate processing may take up to 30 days from submission. Once approved, you should receive a text message with your virtual card within seven business days.
Yes, I finally got through to T-mobile after another trip to the store. The people who sold me the phone seemed to have no idea what I was talking about, and said I needed to contact AAA! It's been almost a month and no word from them. They did give me a tracking number.
