I really wish that I had the ability to review the credit reference for you here, but I just don't have account access needed to do that. When did they file the request that they told you would lead to the email? After they file incident, you should receive that response in about 4-6 business days. If it has been longer than that, I would call one more time and have the customer support person review the notes for the request that was filed and go from there.
I highly recommend you review your credit reports for any recent inquiries. If there is something there, then you can report it there too. I am a big fan of facing a problem from all possible angles. You reported it to us and there is a process going there, but there is also opportunity to address it from the credit agencies as well.
