Retrieving old photos and text messages from a t mobile account with a different phone number phone was changed 2 years ago

IF  you have the original device and haven't factory reset it that's the only place you can get it from.  There is no other way

you might also be able to go into either Google or Icloud to see if they might still be in there (phone dependent/how you had it set up to back things up for you)...but a year + is pushing it..worth a try though.
