Text time is inaccurate why arent usage logs as they truly are ??????

So according to my usage log my messages don't come in until three hours later than the time they were actually sent ! Can somebody please explain this to me and help me better understand why I dont have a accurate time and date on my bill as the time and date that the messages were actually sent !!! PLEASE ADVISE !!!!!!!
