The payment machine is never working!

I go to the store in Gulfgate Shopping Center in Houston,Tx. For the last 6 months the payment machine is never working & in this day & time with Covid 19 running rampant in our area it's a major problem with me. Please accommodate someone who's been a loyal customer for close to 20 years because if not I may have to find a phone new service. Yeah it's could be simple by paying threw the automatic system but for me I don't like putting any credit or debt cards on files with any system.
