  • First off, it's not 2G data (despite what they say). It's whatever data you have throttled by T-Mobile to ~128-256 kbps.

    Incoming calls on WiFi are free. Assume outgoing calls are charged as if called from the USA. So, if you're calling a US number, it's free. If you call a number in Brazil and you get rack international rates, it's $3.00/min. You want to be sure if your phone is on WiFi or cellular. You can do this by either turning WiFi off or putting the phone in Airplane mode and turning just WiFi back on.
